Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Groups without legal personality made up of legal entities belonging to the following types may be beneficiaries of this call: - Private business sector: companies, social economy companies, business associations and other similar ones. - Social Sector Entities: Non-Governmental Development Organizations (hereinafter NGDO) registered in the NGDO Registry assigned to the AECID before the end date of the application submission period. - Entities in the academic and research field: universities, university foundations, research centers and other similar entities, both public and private. In order to promote networking and alliance work, the groups must be made up of at least two entities of different types in the case of innovation actions. Proposals submitted by a legal entity individually or by groups that do not meet the conditions described in this resolution will not be considered. In the case of knowledge actions, their presentation in groups will not be necessary, although their presentation in alliances will be considered in the assessment phase. Public Administrations, international or multilateral Organizations and Organizations and any entity in which a Public Administration participates in the share capital or assets of the same are excluded as possible successful bidders, except in the case of entities in the academic and research fields defined in this section. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to finance: Innovation actions that address social, economic, environmental and development challenges of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Innovation actions must promote innovative solutions, already developed and successfully tested at a pilot level, in order to apply them and demonstrate the possibility of replicating them on a larger scale to achieve sustainable and inclusive development. Likewise, the scalability and replicability of those innovative solutions already successfully applied in the partner countries of the Spanish Cooperation may be co-financed. Knowledge actions in the field of innovation, which will include research and applied studies accompanied by training and/or seminars, which have an innovative component, and refer to the thematic areas included in this call. Third. Regulatory Bases. Order AUC/286/2022, of April 6, which establishes the bases for the granting of international cooperation subsidies for development, in development of Title III of Royal Decree 188/2025, of March 11, which regulates subsidies and aid in the field of international cooperation. Room. Amount. The initial amount of the call is 1,000,000 euros, and may be extended with additional credit up to a maximum of 10,000,000 additional euros. The minimum subsidy per innovation action may not be less than 400,000 euros, nor more than 900,000 euros. The minimum subsidy to finance knowledge actions may not be less than 100,000 euros nor more than 500,000 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications is twenty business days starting at 00:00 hours (Spanish peninsular time) on the day following the publication of this extract in the Official State Gazette and will end at 23:59:59 hours on the last day of the deadline. Sixth. Other data. Applications will be submitted with an electronic signature using one of the signature systems that are considered valid according to article 10 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
