Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. In accordance with the provisions of article 2.2 of Order TED/1060/2024, of September 25, in help line 4, the following entities may obtain the status of beneficiary entity: a) Non-profit entities and organizations. b) Public research organizations of the General Administration of the State and the Autonomous Communities. c) Public universities and their university institutes that are registered in the Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees. d) Organizations and professional associations. e) Statewide non-profit technology centers and technological innovation support centers. f) Public or private non-profit R&D&I centers that include R&D&I in their statutes or in the regulations that regulate them. g) Groups of legal entities, public or private, that, although lacking legal personality, can carry out the projects subject to subsidy. The groups must be made up of the entities mentioned in the previous sections. The maximum number of members of a group is established at four and they must meet the conditions of article 2.1.i) and 2.6 of Order TED/1060/2024, of September 25, and will be governed according to the provisions of article 4 of this call. Second.- Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of aid to projects that promote the development of the bioeconomy, promoting the development, improvement and consolidation of green infrastructure, connectivity, the restoration of degraded ecosystems and multifunctional landscapes, with the aim of increasing biodiversity and its conservation, adaptation to climate change and the prevention of forest fires, while generating opportunities and employment in rural areas and contributing to the fight against the demographic challenge. This call complies with the help line defined in section 4 of article 1.3 of Order TED/1060/2024, of September 25, “Development and consolidation of green infrastructure and the bioeconomy” which, in turn, will contribute to the reduction of gender gaps and equal opportunities and treatment between women and men. Third.- Regulatory bases. Order TED/1060/2024, of September 25, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies from the Biodiversity Foundation, F.S.P., on a competitive basis, for the promotion of green infrastructure, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Fourth.- Endowment and amount of the subsidy. The maximum global award for the call is up to €39,621,896.10. The maximum allocation per region is established based on the geographical distribution of the budget determined by the FEDER General Subdirectorate of Management at the beginning of the 2021-2027 programming period. The minimum total amount of the project will be €500,000.00 and the maximum will be €2,000,000.00. Applications submitted outside this range will not be accepted. The intensity of the subsidy will be, at most, 85% in the case of actions carried out in the Autonomous Communities of the Canary Islands, Andalusia, Castilla – La Mancha, Extremadura and the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta, and Melilla; 60% in the Autonomous Communities of Asturias, Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Valencian Community, Galicia, La Rioja and the Region of Murcia and 40% in the Autonomous Communities of Aragon, Catalonia, Community of Madrid, Foral Community of Navarra and the Basque Country. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will begin from the day following the date of publication of the extract of this call in the Official State Gazette, until July 23, 2025, under the terms and conditions specified in Order TED/1060/2024, of September 25. Sixth.- Other data. The full text of the call, as well as the rest of the relevant information about the process, will be published on the Biodiversidad Foundation website, www.fundacion-biodiversidad.es.
