Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiary entities They may be beneficiaries of the subsidies, without prejudice to meeting the established requirements on these bases, the town councils of the Autonomous Community of Galicia in which festivals declared of tourist interest in Galicia included in the purpose of this call are celebrated during the year 2025. Likewise, groups that, without having legal personality, are made up of municipalities in which festivals declared of tourist interest in Galicia are held that meet the requirements established in the previous paragraph, in accordance with the provisions of article 8.3 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies, may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. Second. Purpose and regime 1. The subsidies regulated by these bases are intended to partially cover investments directly linked to the support, promotion and dissemination of the festivals declared of tourist interest in Galicia. It will be an essential requirement that the festival has the declaration of tourist interest in Galicia regulated in Decree 4/2015, of January 8, which regulates the declaration of festivals of tourist interest in Galicia. Festivals that, in addition to the declaration of tourist interest of Galicia, have the declaration of festival of national and/or international tourist interest as established by Order ICT/851/2019, of July 25, which regulates the declaration of festivals of national and international tourist interest, will not be subject to subsidy. 2. The procedure for granting these subsidies will be processed on a non-competitive basis in strict order of entry into the registry. Third. Regulatory bases Resolution of May 2, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting, on a non-competitive basis, of subsidies to town councils for the support, promotion and dissemination of the festivals declared of tourist interest in Galicia, and proceeds to call them for the year 2025 (procedure code TU500A). Fourth.Amount The subsidies related to the support, promotion and dissemination of festivals declared of tourist interest in Galicia will be attributed to the budget application 04.A2.761A.760.1, project 2017 00005, with a credit of €500,000.00, without prejudice to subsequent variations produced as a result of the existence of greater budget availability, in accordance with the provisions of the articles 31 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies, and 30 of Decree 11/2009, of January 8, which approves its regulations, which may give rise to the granting of more subsidies, in accordance with the order of initiation. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be one (1) month. Said period will begin to be counted once eight calendar days have passed from the day following the publication of this resolution in the Official Gazette of Galicia. If the last day of the period is a non-business day, it will be understood to be extended to the first following business day and, if in the expiration month there is no day equivalent to the initial day of the calculation, it will be understood that the period expires on the last day of the month. Sixth. Deadline for justification of the subsidy To collect the subsidy granted, the beneficiary will have until September 30, 2025 for events held until August 31, and when the subsidized event is held after this date, until December 20, 2025.
