Official description of the call
First. Object. 1. This Order convenes, on a competitive basis, the Extraordinary Awards for professional Music teachings corresponding to the academic years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, in order to recognize the merits of the students who have taken said teachings with excellent academic performance and to allow their participation in the national competition phase in the case of winning one of the Extraordinary Awards for the aforementioned teachings, convened by the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. 2. The receipt of this subsidy is compatible with any other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, coming from public or private organizations, from the European Union or international organizations, in accordance with the provisions of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17. Second. Beneficiaries. 1. People who are in the situation on which the award is based and in which the following circumstances apply may have the status of beneficiaries: a) Having completed professional music education in the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 academic year at an educational center in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. b) Having obtained an average grade equal to or greater than 8.75 points in the last two years of professional Music education. The average grade will be the arithmetic mean of the grades of all the subjects taken in the last two years of the studies, rounded to the nearest hundredth and, in case of equidistance, to the nearest hundredth. Validated subjects will not be taken into account for this calculation. When the student has directly accessed the sixth year of teaching, the average grade will refer only to the subjects of said year. 2. Those people who are subject to any of the prohibitions contemplated in article 12 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies may not have the status of beneficiaries. Third. Regulatory Bases. The bases by which this call is regulated are included in Order EDU/7/2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting, on a competitive basis, of the extraordinary awards for professional teachings in Music, Dance and Plastic Arts and Design in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria No. 50 of March 13, 2025. Fourth. Amount. 1. The global amount of the prizes in this call is 3,000.00 euros, and will be financed from the budget application 09.05.324A.482.01 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2025. 2. The individual financial amount of each prize will be €500.00. Fifth. Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days, counting from the day following the day this extract is published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Sixth. Documentation. Applicants who wish to participate in this call must complete the registration application that appears as Annex I of the call order, accompanied by the documentation indicated in article 3.6, in the event that the applicant objects to the consultations indicated in articles 3.4 and 3.5 of the call.
