SUBSIDIES AIMED TO SUPPORT MUNICIPAL PUBLIC LIBRARIES OF CASTILLA - LA MANCHA BY 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiary entities. Only town councils and local entities lower than the municipality of Castilla-La Mancha that meet the requirements established in section 1 of the third base of Order 45/2025, of March 21, of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, which establishes the regulatory bases for granting subsidies intended to support municipal public libraries in Castilla-La Mancha, may apply for this subsidy. Second. Object. Increase the quality of the service offered by municipal public libraries, through the four spending modalities established in section 2 of the first base of Order 45/2025, of March 21 (hiring of librarians, bibliographic acquisitions, cultural activities to encourage reading, and provision and improvement of equipment). Third. Amount. The credit available for this call follows the breakdown set out below, which amounts to a total of 1,100,000.00 euros. The granting of subsidies is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient budget credit in the year 2025: Annuity Amount Budget application 2025 €725,000.00 08/18/000G/452A/46411 2025 €375,000.00 08/18/000G/452A/76417 The maximum amount of the subsidy to be awarded will be the following: a) Modality A. Contracting: 6,000 euros maximum. b) Modality B. Acquisitions: 2,500 euros maximum. c) Modality C. Cultural activities: 1,250 euros maximum. d) Modality D. Equipment: 1,250 euros maximum. If the same local entity is the beneficiary of several types of expenditure, the maximum amount of the subsidy to be granted as a whole may not exceed 15,000 euros. Likewise, the maximum amount of the subsidy to be awarded may not exceed 60% of the budgeted eligible expenses in the case of hiring library staff, and 80% for the rest of the modalities. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the subsidy to be granted and the percentage of subsidy awarded with respect to the budgeted expenditure reflected in the application will be graded based on the score obtained. Room. Application submission deadline. Twenty business days counting from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha. Fifth. Other data. Expenses that correspond to those determined in the fourth base of Order 45/2025, of March 21, are considered eligible for subsidies. Applications will be submitted exclusively electronically with an electronic signature, through the form enabled for this purpose at the Electronic Headquarters of the Administration of the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha (https://www.jccm.es). All procedures related to the granting of this aid that are not published will be notified by electronic means, through the telematic notification platform of the Administration of the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha.
