Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3b and 20.8ª of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and in the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Tarragona: DIPUTACIÓN DE TARRAGONA People and Talent Area Economic Management and Payroll Unit The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Tarragona in a session on June 3, 2025 has approved the following call. First. Beneficiaries Non-profit sports entities that carry out unique sports activities in the Tarragona region. The entities must be registered in the corresponding public registry of the Generalitat of Catalonia and their purpose and object must coincide with the purpose and object of the call. Entities that do not have sport as their main activity are excluded, even if they have it in their statutes as a complementary activity. The sports councils of the Tarragona district are also excluded. Second. Purpose To finance sports activities of a unique nature that take place in the Tarragona district, with the aim of promoting local economic development, social cohesion and the inclusion of people and groups with special needs, or more vulnerable, of the population or at risk of exclusion. Third. Subsidized activities and execution period In general, the following are considered eligible for subsidy: 1. Unique sports activities aimed at a general public organized by non-profit sports entities and carried out in the Tarragona district: prizes, championships, sports festivities, tournaments, marches, marathons and similar. 2. Cultural activities or activities of citizen interest that sports entities organize in the Tarragona district on the occasion of anniversaries, commemorations, special dates, etc., and activities to support adapted and inclusive sport are also permitted. The period to execute the subsidized actions begins on January 1, 2025 and ends on December 31, 2025. Fourth. Regulatory bases General bases for subsidies of the Provincial Council of Tarragona published in the BOP of Tarragona on February 27, 2019. Fifth. Budget credit and maximum total amount The maximum total amount of the subsidies called is estimated and is 1,200,000 euros charged to the budget application 8000-341-48000 of the budgets for the years 2025 and 2026. The granting of the subsidies included in this call is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the year 2026. In addition, the amount Maximum can be extended according to the requests received and budget availability. Sixth. Individualized amount of the subsidy The total credit available for the call is distributed among all applications received and accepted for processing and is subsidized up to 90% of the eligible budget and up to the maximum amount of 15,000 euros per beneficiary. Seventh. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications begins the day after the publication of this call in the BOPT and ends one month from the date of publication. Eighth. Application submission form It is mandatory to submit the grant application and the rest of the documentation through the specific electronic procedure enabled at: https://seuelectronica.dipta.cat, electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Tarragona. A maximum of one application can be submitted per entity and NIF.
