Scholarships to support higher education students for the 2024-2025 academic year

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Individuals who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of these scholarships: Be registered and reside in the municipality of La Ràpita continuously and for the 3 years prior to the date of submission of the application. Be between 17 and 25 years old, both included, in the year of registration for the school year to which the call refers. Be enrolled in higher level vocational training cycles, higher level plastic arts and design cycles, higher level sports education, undergraduate studies, higher artistic education, master's degree and/or doctoral studies. Be up to date with tax, Social Security and fiscal obligations with the Ràpita City Council and not be subject to any procedure for the reimbursement of public subsidies or any sanctioning procedure initiated for this reason against the beneficiary/applicant. The family lava thresholds applicable for the granting of scholarships will be the following: Number of eligible members of the family unit / Threshold (euros) 1 / €15,567.00; 2 / €26,573.00; 3 / €36,070.00; 4 / €42,836.00; 5 / €47,878.00; 6 / €51,685.00 7 / €55,451.00; 8 / €59,199.00; Each additional member to the 8th / 3,740.00 Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the procedure for granting scholarships to promote regulated studies for people registered in the municipality of La Ràpita and who have completed higher education in higher-level vocational training cycles, higher-grade plastic arts and design cycles, higher-grade sports education, undergraduate studies, higher artistic education, master's degrees and/or doctoral studies during the 2024-2025 academic year. Third. Regulatory bases. Bases approved by the Local Government Board, dated June 12, 2025. Fourth. Amount. For students who are enrolled in centers in the municipality, semi-face-to-face or non-face-to-face studies, the amount of the scholarship will be 60.00 euros per student. For students who are enrolled in centers that are not in the municipality, the amount of the scholarship will be the result of multiplying by 2.00 euros the separation distance in kilometers of the place where the studies are carried out with respect to the city of La Ràpita, with a minimum of 70.00 euros and a maximum of 400.00 euros per student, as long as it does not exceed the total budget item (33,000.00 euros). In this case, a proportional distribution will be made among all admitted applications. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline to submit applications to the Ràpita City Council will be from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
