Official description of the call
IRUN CITY COUNCIL Area of Finance, General Services and City Promotion. Extract from resolution No. 802 of June 16, 2025 of the Mayor's Office of the Irun City Council, which approves the call for the IRUN EKINTZAN AWARD FOR INNOVATION IN THE COMPANY 2025.. Purpose The purpose of this subsidy is to promote innovative culture in any area of the company and of any type: product innovation (physical good, service...), process innovation (internal organization, people, market...) or business model innovation, which represents an improvement in its positioning and competitiveness. Beneficiaries and requirements 3 categories of beneficiaries are established_ a) Honorary award: A Commission will be established which will propose the company from Irun that will receive the honorary recognition as an innovative company from Irun. Without financial provision. b) Innovative project award: This award will go to Irun companies that participate in any of the projects of the different lines of work to support the competitive improvement of Bidasoa activa. c) Innovative idea award: This award will be aimed at entrepreneurs. They may acquire the status of beneficiary: 1. Have their headquarters and/or a work center in Irun. 2. Have launched an innovative project in any area of the company in the years 2024 or 2025. 3. Not be subject to any of the circumstances included in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. 4. Be up to date with your tax obligations and with Social Security and the Irun City Council. Requirements 1 and 2 will not be required of applicants for the Innovative Idea award. Financial allocation Budgetary allocation: 10,000 euros. Its financing is subject to the allocation of adequate and sufficient credit, at the request of the area instructing the file, in the budget for the 2026 financial year. Amount of the subsidy: - Innovative project award: Specialized and individualized advice of up to 6,000 euros. - Innovative idea award: 4,000 euros The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the official publication of these bases and will end on November 30, 2025. Applications will be submitted to the Irun City Council through the Citizen Service Services (SAC), Municipal Electronic Headquarters or any other means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure.
