Official description of the call
First: Object 1. The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Fine Arts, by delegation of the Secretary of State for Culture, in accordance with section Fourth 2. d) of Order CLT/503/2024, of May 27, on setting limits for the administration of credits for expenses and delegation of powers, calls for the aid intended for the period between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. to the promotion of photography by supporting the photographic sector with the aim of promoting the creation, curating, production, training, research, conservation, preservation, restoration, documentation, digitization, archiving, dissemination and dissemination of Spanish photographic heritage. 2.The types of aid that can be requested in this call, depending on the class to which the beneficiary entity belongs are: A – Carrying out projects in the photographic field by non-profit entities. B – Realization of projects in the photographic field by for-profit entities. The types of aid mentioned are incompatible with each other, so each applicant may only request aid for one of them. The eligible activity must be carried out, at most, until June 30, 2026. Second: Beneficiary entities 1. They may benefit from each type of aid, depending on the type of beneficiary entity: A – Non-profit entities that carry out projects in the photographic field: associations, foundations, museums, training centers, cooperatives, research groups, art galleries, photographic groups, festivals, etc. B – For-profit entities that carry out projects in the photographic field: schools, publishers, galleries, and companies that carry out artistic work linked to conservation, research and photographic documentation. 2. Neither the Entities that make up the Public Sector, understood in the sense provided for in article 2 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, nor the consortia, associations or other public entities constituted mainly by said Public Administrations, may obtain the status of beneficiary entities of the aid called for by this Resolution; Nor may non-profit entities, groups of natural or legal persons, civil societies, communities of property, or any other type of economic unit or separate assets that lack legal personality be beneficiaries. 3.Those who meet any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary entity. Third: Regulatory bases Order CUL/2912/2010, of November 10, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies under a competitive competition regime of the Ministry of Culture and its public organizations. Published in the B.O.E. no. 275, of November 13, 2010. Fourth: Amount The financing of the aid referred to in section First will be charged to the credits of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Fine Arts of the expense budget of the Ministry of Culture. The maximum amount destined to finance this call is €1,000,000. This amount will be allocated to the following budget applications 24.05.333B.488.01 and 24.05.333B.478.01 divided into two types according to the type of entity that develops the project: Type A- Carried out by non-profit entities: 900,000 euros and Type B- Carried out by for-profit entities: 100,000 euros. Said distribution will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 58.4 of Royal Decree 887/2006: "When the maximum total amount of the subsidies called is distributed among different budget credits and said distribution is expressly granted an estimated nature, the alteration of said distribution will not require a new call but will require the modifications that may be made in the expenditure file before the resolution of the concession", in the event that, as a consequence of the application of the criteria assessment of the Tenth section and the proposed resolution, it was necessary to make a redistribution between those credits.
