Official description of the call
Extract from the agreement of the Local Government Board dated June 23, 2025, which calls for subsidies on festivals for the year 2025. First.- Beneficiaries. The status of beneficiary entity, both in terms of their general expenses and the activities they carry out, may be obtained by the festive citizen entities of Burjassot, whose main activity is the organization of festive events of a singular, traditional or popular nature, that have carried out the festive activities provided for in this call and that meet the following requirements within the application submission period: a) Festive citizen entities of Burjassot, whose main activity is the organization of festive events of a singular, traditional or popular, non-profit and duly constituted. b) Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Neighborhood Associations, in the heading of Festivals. c) Not have a nominative item in the Municipal Budget or agreement signed with this City Council that includes financial obligations. d) Be up to date with your tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, the Territorial Treasury of Social Security and with the Burjassot City Council. Accreditation of compliance with the obligation to be up to date with tax obligations with the Burjassot City Council will be carried out ex officio by the City Council, through the issuance of a positive administrative certification, in accordance with article 9 of the General Subsidies Ordinance. a) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. b) Meet the requirements established in art. 8 of the General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Burjassot City Council. c) Not pursue lucrative purposes or depend economically or institutionally on for-profit entities. Second.- Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of financial aid for the implementation of certain festive projects of a traditional, singular or popular nature, which have been developed or will be developed in the year 2025 in our municipality. The purpose to be achieved is the promotion of culture, the active participation of citizens as a means to promote coexistence between neighbors, reinforce social and cultural values of the neighborhoods and the preservation of the festive traditions existing in the municipality of Burjassot. Third.- Regulatory bases. The General Ordinance regulating subsidies is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia number 105, of May 31, 2024. https://transparencia.burjassot.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/anuncioboppublicaciondefinitivaordenanzasubvenciones.pdf Fourth.- Amount. The amount of these subsidies will be paid from the credit of the current budget of Municipal Item 338.48901 "Fiesta Subsidies". The maximum amount allocated to these subsidies will be 12,000 euros. Fifth.- Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province.
