Official description of the call
1. Purpose The purpose of this call is to carry out the Puig Bernat Children's and Youth Poetry or Narrative Awards, within the framework of the 2025 edition of the Vila de Vallirana Literary Awards, establishing the deadlines for delivery of originals, date of the verdict and awards. 2. Regulatory bases Given the Plenary Agreement of the Vallirana City Council dated December 5, 2024, published in the BOPB on December 16, 2024, approving the Strategic Subsidy Plan 2025-2027 of the Vallirana City Council (http://bop.diba.cat/anunci/3710144/aprovacio-del-plan-estrategic-de-subvencions-2025-2027-ajuntament-de-vallirana) By plenary agreement of May 28, 2020, were the Rules of the Vila de Vallirana Literary Awards initially approved? Josep M. López Picó Catalan Poetry Prize? Vila de Vallirana Award? Puig Bernat Prizes for Children's and Youth Poetry or Fiction? Vallirana High School Research Work Award from which the corresponding calls will be made each year. They were submitted to public information for a period of 20 business days by publishing an edict in the BOPB-Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona, in the DOGC-DiariOficial of the Generalitat de Catalunya (http://cido.diba.cat/subvencions/10260684/premios-literarios-vila-de-vallirana-2020- Ayuntamiento-de-vallirana) and on the bulletin board of announcements from the Corporation dated June 11, 2020, without any claim or suggestion having been submitted. 3. Awards - Puig Bernat Awards: - 1st category. Winner. A batch of books and/or stationery valued at €50 and a diploma. Finalist. A book and diploma. - 2nd category. Winner. A batch of books and/or stationery valued at €60 and a diploma. Finalist. A book and diploma. - 3rd category. Winner. A batch of books and/or stationery valued at €70 and a diploma. Finalist. A book and diploma. - 4th category. Winner. A batch of books and/or stationery valued at €100 and a diploma. Finalist. A book and diploma. 4. Presentation of the originals The deadline to send the works aspiring for the awards is from March 28 to April 14, 2025. The following must be submitted: Puig Bernat Awards on paper in five copies in person at the Department of Culture of the Vallirana City Council (Masia Molí de Can Batlle, calle del Molí, 2-4 08759 Vallirana). 5. Other information The award juries will make their verdict, which will be approved by the Local Government Board, in accordance with the regulations on delegations of powers and powers of City Council bodies other than the Plenary Session. The decision of all the awards will be made public in Vallirana on May 10, 2025.
