Subsidies to women's associations and federations and other non-profit entities to carry out programs and projects on equal opportunities and treatment between women and men corresponding to the year 2025

Official description of the call

Having been approved by the Local Government Board of this City Council, in an ordinary session held in the first call on May 22, 2025, the Public Call for Subsidies in the Matter of Equal Opportunities and Treatment between Women and Men corresponding to the year 2025, is published, in accordance with the provisions of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, an extract of the call whose full text can be can be consulted at: (http://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias?organos=1692&tipoAdmon=L) and on the website of the Chiclana de la Frontera City Council https://www.chiclana.es/areas-municipales/bienestar-e-igualdad/mujer/convocatoria-de-subvenciones. The purpose of this call is to regulate, on a competitive basis, the granting of subsidies that the Chiclana City Council, through the Women's Delegation, and charged to budget applications 81 2315/489 and 81 2315/789 of the 2025 municipal budget, allocates to women's associations and federations and other non-profit entities, for the execution, within the town, of projects that have The objective is equality between women and men, and the strengthening and consolidation of the network of women's associations in this municipality. Two lines of subsidies are established: 1. Programs and projects of activities whose objective is the promotion of equal opportunities and treatment between women and men and the social, cultural, political and economic participation of women. 2. Acquisition of inventory material whose purpose is to carry out the program or project of activities requested. Those projects that work on the following topics will be considered preferential: 1. The prevention and intervention of sexist violence. 2. The promotion of equal opportunities, with special attention to the social and labor integration of women. 3. Training in equality and gender. 4. Co-responsibility. 5. The affective-sexual education of citizens, with special reference to the young population. Those projects that contemplate, among others, the following initiatives may also be subsidized: 1. The social, cultural, political and economic participation of women. 2. Attention to the diversity of women and their specificity. 3. The impulse, growth and creation of networks around the associative movement. 4. Equal opportunities with a gender perspective as a human right. 5. The differential health of women. 6. Training and access to new technologies for women. 7. The training of the male population in equality and gender. 8. Training in inclusive language. 9. The gender perspective in advertising and the media. 10. Attention to cultural diversity and the feminization of poverty. 11. Prevention and intervention in sexual exploitation. 12. Training and participation in the promotion of gender equality of the child and youth population. 13. The visibility of women throughout history. 14. Studies and research with a gender perspective. MAXIMUM TOTAL AMOUNT OF SUBSIDIES CALLED. The Chiclana City Council will allocate for these purposes: 1. Charged to budget application 81 2315/489, the amount of up to TWENTY ONE THOUSAND EUROS (€21,000) corresponding to the subsidy line for projects and programs whose purpose is gender equality. 2. Charged to budget application 81 2315/789, the amount of up to ONE THOUSAND EUROS (€1,000), corresponding to the subsidy line for the acquisition of inventories. PROJECT EXECUTION DEADLINE. The projects must be executed in the period between January 1 and December 31, 2025. REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THE GRANT. 1. Women's associations and federations and other non-profit entities may apply for the subsidies that are the subject of this call, which, in addition to the general requirements established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, meet the following: a) Be legally constituted, have legal personality and capacity to operate in the municipality, and be registered in the public registry corresponding to their fiscal nature at least twelve months before the publication of this call. b) Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of the
