Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Young people born or residing in the municipality of Córdoba may apply, with works on a free topic that must be original, unpublished, not previously awarded in this or other contests or pending publication. Those people who have been awarded in the immediately previous edition of this contest or more than once may not participate in the same category/modality, this exclusion not affecting those who have obtained an honorable mention. Second. Purpose: The Comics, Caricature, Graphic Humor and Illustration Contest is a contest with different modalities and categories. The Trampa fanzine is a publication that collects graphic work by young cartoonists from Córdoba. This is a joint call, so participation in the contest implies participation in the fanzine, and vice versa, unless expressly stated otherwise. Two categories are established: Junior Category: year of birth from 2011 to 2006, both inclusive Senior Category: year of birth from 2005 to 1989, both inclusive And three modalities in each category: Cartoon (Comic) Illustration Caricature and Graphic Humor Third. Regulatory bases: General framework that regulates all calls for subsidies and aid from the Córdoba City Council. Room. Amount: The Cartoon, Caricature and Illustration Contest is endowed with a budget of 2,700 euros in prizes. In each modality, a winning work will be chosen, whose author will receive the following prize, according to the category in which they are presented: Junior Category Cartoon Modality: 300 euros (taxes included) Junior Category Cartoon and Graphic Humor Modality: 300 euros (taxes included) Junior Category Illustration Modality: 300 euros (taxes included) Senior Category Comics Modality: 600 euros (taxes included) Senior Category Caricature and Graphic Humor Modality: 600 euros (taxes included) Senior Category Illustration Modality: 600 euros (taxes included) The organization may consider the possibility of increasing each of these amounts in the same proportion if, due to a prize having been deserted, there was budgetary room for it. These amounts will be subject to taxes and legal withholdings. Fifth.- Deadline for submission of works: The registration period will be open until October 2 at 11:59 p.m.
