Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. University students who meet the following requirements will have the status of candidates and, therefore, may opt to be beneficiaries of these aids: 1. To qualify for aid in the 1st year: be enrolled full-time in official degree studies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha in the 2025/2026 academic year. 2. To qualify for renewal of the study: have enjoyed the UCLM-GALP scholarship the previous academic year, have passed all the subjects for which you enrolled and continue to be enrolled full-time in the official degree studies that began at the University of Castilla La Mancha. The scholarship aid may be renewed for up to a maximum of 3 courses. 3. For both the first year and subsequent years of granting the scholarship, be registered, together with your family unit, in the municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha close to the GALP renewable energy plants listed below: Chiprana (Zaragoza), Escatrón (Zaragoza), Muel (Zaragoza), Botorrita (Zaragoza), Alcaniz (Teruel), Híjar (Teruel), Samper de Calanda (Teruel), Albarreal de Tajo (Toledo), Toledo, Alcázar San Juan (Ciudad Real), Manzanares (Ciudad Real) (the municipalities mentioned may change if Galp develops another renewable energy project in another municipality in the region, which must be added later by agreement between the parties). Second. Object. Financial funds are provided to reward the academic merit of students from municipalities close to GALP's renewable energy plants (located in municipalities of Castilla La Mancha and Aragón) and who are pursuing their degree studies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, through the allocation of support aid for higher education. Five grants will be granted for first-year students, renewable during the next 3 academic years, as long as the established academic performance is maintained. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 20,000 euros. The gross amount of the aid is 1,000 euros per academic year. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The application period will remain open from the day following the publication of this call until October 15, 2025, inclusive.
