Official description of the call

First. BENEFICIARIES AND EXCLUSIONS: Line 1 Entrepreneurs who are self-employed workers or SMEs, whatever their legal form, established prior to the publication of the call, who in the application indicate and subsequently justify that they are going to develop projects that involve the modernization and/or expansion of the company's activity. Line 2. Entrepreneurs who are self-employed workers or SMEs, whatever their legal form, who indicate in the application and subsequently justify that the expenses incurred necessarily respond to those of their start-up and/or for the development of the activity of an innovative nature, linked to a new way of offering a service, something new on the market or a startup with an online business, dedicated to the development of technologies and design of web processes. The following are expressly excluded as applicants for this call: Non-profit Entities, as well as Associations, even when they may carry out economic activity. Public Administrations, their Autonomous Bodies, Public Companies and other public entities, as well as Associations, Foundations and, in general, non-profit Entities and self-employed collaborating personnel. Second. OBJECT AND PURPOSE The regulations contained in this Call constitute the framework of action and legal regime applicable to the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, to promote the development of the local business fabric by supporting entrepreneurial activity and promoting self-employment in the city. The object and purpose of this call is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs by supporting entrepreneurial talent, favoring business initiatives proposed as self-employment by their promoters, valuing job creation and their stable nature, promoting innovative and digital projects with support for startups that are part of a municipal acceleration program for small and medium-sized companies. With two lines of action: Line 1 Entrepreneurs who are self-employed workers or SMEs, whatever their legal form, established prior to the publication of the call, who in the application indicate and subsequently justify that they are going to develop projects that involve the modernization and/or expansion of the company's activity. Line 2. Entrepreneurs who are self-employed workers or SMEs, whatever their legal form, who indicate in the application and subsequently justify that the expenses incurred necessarily respond to those of their start-up and/or for the development of the activity of an innovative nature, linked to a new way of offering a service, something new on the market or a startup with an online business, dedicated to the development of technologies and design of web processes. The aid of this Call will be granted in the form of subsidies and under a competitive competition regime, subject to the Bases of the General Ordinance of Regulatory Bases for the granting of Subsidies by the City Council of Almería and its Autonomous Bodies, approved by Plenary Agreement dated April 5, 2024 (BOP no. 142, of July 24, 2024), and, in matters not expressly provided for in The Bases for Execution of the 2025 Municipal Budget, Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies, will be of supplementary application; Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; Legislative Decree 1/2010, of March 2, which approves the Consolidated Text of the General Law of Public Finance of the Junta de Andalucía; as well as any other general or procedural rules that may be applicable. Third. REGULATORY BASES This Call is approved within the framework of the General Ordinance of Regulatory Bases for the Granting of Subsidies by the Almería City Council and its Autonomous Bodies B.O.P. No. 142 dated July 24, 2024. Fourth. AMOUNT The aid will be in the nature of a subsidy and its granting is financed from Budget Application A800 439.00 489.00 SUBSIDIES AID FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL TALENT of the 2025 Municipal Budget.
