Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Applicants must meet the following requirements: a) Have Spanish nationality. Applications from beneficiaries of dual nationality with the United States will not be accepted. b) Be in possession of a Doctor, Bachelor, Master, Degree, Engineer or Architect title issued by a Spanish university. In the case of degrees awarded by foreign or private Spanish university centers, they must be approved by the department responsible for approvals before the end of the application submission period. c) Possess knowledge of the English language – spoken and written – adequate to meet the objectives of the project, accredited in the manner provided for in this order, at the time of formalizing the request. d) Be providing effective services in the Ministry of Industry and Tourism or in its linked or dependent public bodies and public law entities, as a career official of subgroup A1 or subgroup A2, with a minimum of one year of seniority in the General Administration of the State on the date of end of the application submission period. In addition, a clear interest must be proven, due to the activity carried out, and the applicability and usefulness of the training for the ordinary activities of the Ministry must be justified. Second. Object, number, duration. A training or research scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year is being called on a competitive basis and in collaboration with the Fulbright Commission in the areas of competence of the Ministry with a minimum duration of one academic year and a maximum of twenty-four months, non-extendable, which, in no case, may exceed the deadline of the end of December 2028. Third. Regulatory bases. Order ICT/642/2022, of July 4, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of Fulbright scholarships by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism published in the "Official State Gazette" number 162, of July 7, 2022. Fourth. Application submission deadline. Applications must be submitted from the day following the publication of the extract of this call order in the Official State Gazette and until September 30, inclusive. Fifth. Financing and endowment of the awarded scholarship. The scholarship announced by this order will be financed from the budgetary credits of the Undersecretariat of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, program 421M, concept 480, for a maximum annual amount of 90,000.00 euros. Sixth. Other data. Applicants must comply with the requirements established in article 6 of the aforementioned Order ICT/642/2022, of July 4, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of Fulbright scholarships, presenting the documentation provided for in article 7. The applications and other required documentation related to it will be presented on the electronic platform of the Fulbright Commission, which will be accessed through the electronic address https://fulbright.es.
