Official description of the call
First. Purpose: The purpose of this Call is, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter III of the execution bases of the budget for the 2025 financial year of this Provincial Council, to grant subsidies on a competitive basis to municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants in the province of Granada to finance the modernization and improvement of public sports facilities. Second. Beneficiary entities: Those Local Entities that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries, as of the end of the application submission period: 3.1. Municipalities in the province of Granada with more than 50,000 inhabitants. 3.2. Actions may be included whose bidding or execution has already been initiated by the requesting Entity as long as the principle of budgetary annuality is respected and the object of the work conforms to the object and other requirements demanded in the corresponding call. This provision will not be applicable to works already received. Third. Regulatory bases: Agreement of the Government Board of July 14, 2025 and Bases for the execution of the 2025 Budget of the Provincial Council of Granada. Room. Amount: Granada Provincial Council has enabled in the budget corresponding to the annuity in budget application 162.34213.76201, an initial amount of €2,700,000, with the possibility existing, depending on budget availability at the time of its final resolution, of increasing the amount corresponding to the contribution of the Granada Provincial Council. The beneficiary Local Entities may also co-finance their actions with funds that come from the State, the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Municipalities themselves, Community Structural Funds or any other public or private Institutions. Provincial Council will contribute 100% of the value of the requested action/s, according to budget availability. Fifth. Deadlines for submitting applications and resolution: The deadline for submitting applications is 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada, to submit your application. Local Entities will formulate their requests by submitting them electronically at the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council of Granada in a single file, in the specific procedure called “Extraordinary Call for Subsidies for Sports Facilities 2025”. The Application will be submitted according to the model in Annex I in which the action(s) to be included in the call will be indicated, duly signed electronically. The maximum period to resolve and notify the agreement will be a maximum of 6 months from the month following the end of the application submission period. Sixth. Payment regime: An advance payment of 90% of the subsidy will be made through a single payment following a resolution of final approval of the concession, depending on budget availability, provided that the Local Entity does not have other subsidies granted by this Provincial Council in arrears of justification in the same budget concept. The remaining 10% of the subsidy will be transferred by the Provincial Council after accreditation of the execution and payment of the entire action. Seventh. Execution periods and justification: The execution period of the subsidized actions will be 24 months from the date of publication of the final approval resolution in the BOP, without prejudice to the extensions that may be approved in compliance with the limitations of the LPACAP. It will be understood that the action has been carried out with the receipt document. The period to carry out the justification of the subsidy will be 3 months from the end of the execution period, however, justification files may be submitted at any time prior to the end of the execution period, provided that the entire expense has been incurred. Eighth. Information poster: As a dissemination and publicity measure, an information poster will be installed in a visible place and next to the co-financed action during the execution of the actions and until their completion or reception. The shape and measurements of the poster will comply with what is established in the advertising annex available on the website of the Provincial Council of Granada.
