Official description of the call
First. Object The object is the promotion of the plastic arts. Second. Beneficiaries People over 18 years of age who reside in Spain can participate. Winners of previous editions of the Biennial cannot participate. Third. Regulatory bases The Plenary Session of the Carcaixent City Council, in the session held on October 26, 2022, approved the General Subsidies Ordinance, which contains the regulatory bases of the procedure for the granting of subsidies by this City Council. The full text of the Ordinance was published in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia No. 220 dated November 16, 2022. Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for receiving works will be from Monday, August 25 to Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fifth. Amount The maximum global amount of this subsidy amounts to 3,000 euros, and will be financed from budget application 3341.48002 "Premi Bienal Pintura" of the budget of the Carcaixent City Council for the year 2025. Sixth Documentation The competition is open to any technique and style. The works will have a maximum dimensions of 180 cm X 180 cm. Each participant may present a maximum of two works. The works must be framed by a strip of maximum 3 cm if it does not have continuity in the frame and, if the support requires it, by glass.
