Official description of the call

FIRST. Beneficiaries To be beneficiaries of ordinary sports subsidies, the following requirements must be met: • Be registered, on the date of the application submission deadline, in the Municipal Registry of associations of the Algemesí City Council or in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Valencian Community, for at least 1 calendar year or last complete sports-school season. • That the sports program presented is of municipal interest due to its nature of promoting sports practice in the town of Algemesí. • That they have their registered office in the municipality of Algemesí, as well as the facilities (own or not) where they usually practice sports. • Sports associations or clubs will be established on a non-profit basis. • That they are not immersed in any cause of prohibition to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies provided for in article 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General of Subsidies. This point will be justified by a responsible declaration granted before an administrative authority or a notary public. Activities carried out by associations framed in areas other than sports are excluded from this call, such as associations in industrial or commercial, educational, social welfare or cultural fields. Associations that benefit from nominative subsidies from the Algemesí City Council are also excluded from this call. SECOND. Object The object and purpose of these bases is to regulate the aid that the Algemesí City Council has to grant, during the 2025 financial year, for collaborating economically with local sports entities, in the development of their own activity, taking into account the general expenses of the entities, especially those related to their administrative, organizational and sports consolidation. THIRD. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases for granting the subsidy will be available on the electronic bulletin board and on the Algemesí City Council website www.algemesi.es. ROOM. Amount This aid will be financed from item 334-48900 of the budget for the year 2025, with a total maximum aid limit of 33,000 euros. FIFTH. Deadline for submission of applications Subsidy applications, as well as the documents they include, will be submitted to the general registry of the City Council by electronic processing within a period of 20 business days counted from the day following the publication of the call on the Corporation's bulletin board.
