BASES FOR THE CALL FOR COMPETITIVE COMPETITION SUBSIDIES DIRECTED TO NON-PROFIT SPORTS ENTITIES AIMED AT THE PROMOTION AND SUPPORT OF THE CARRYING OUT OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR 2025.1.- GENERAL PROVISIONS These regulations are intended to establish the criteria and procedures for the granting of municipal subsidies from the Padrón City Council for the provision of services or the carrying out of sports activities that complement or replace those attributed to municipal jurisdiction or that, in general, contribute to the promotion of the peculiar interests of the municipality. The principles to which the procedures for granting subsidies will be subject are the following: publicity, transparency, concurrence, objectiveness, equality and non-discrimination, effectiveness, efficiency, voluntariness and non-binding for future subsidies. The granting of the subsidies provided for in these bases will be processed under a regime of competitive competition, as defined in base no. competitions carried out at the federative level or in competitions recognized by the corresponding sports administration, and for the organization of sporting events and competitions in the City Council of Padrón. The submission of applications for subsidies that do not have the purpose of carrying out a sporting activity within the municipal property of Padrón will not be admitted, with the sole exception of those non-profit sports entities with headquarters in the City Council that present projects intended to compete outside the municipal property. This exception is admitted with the understanding that the participation or organization of these events contributes to achieving achievements and recognition for the Padrón City Council and its athletes. The activities will be classified for the purposes of this call into two types:- COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY. According to Law 3/2012, of April 3, on Sports in Galicia (hereinafter LDG), a sporting activity is considered to be regulated physical exercise, whose main objective is the participation and/or achievement of a sporting result in competitions held at the federative level or in competitions recognized by the regional sports administration. These aids are intended to cover the expenses derived from participation in different sports competitions of modalities officially recognized by a Galician or Spanish sports federation.- ORGANIZATION OF SPORTS EVENTS OF AN EXTRAORDINARY NATURE. Organization of sporting events and competitions in the Padrón Town Hall. Competitions or events of an extraordinary nature are understood to be those that have an annual or greater periodicity. The expense derived from the subsidies granted will be attributed to the budgetary application 341/480.03 of the current general budget and will be limited by the existing credit therein to be imposed of 15,000.00 euros. 3.- ELIGIBLE EXPENSES Eligible activities, under the protection of these bases, will be those carried out in the period between January 1, 2025 and until the end of the entire inspection procedure of the justification of the application of the funds granted as a subsidy and the approval by the Local Government Xunta of the supporting account presented by the beneficiaries. Eligible expenses are considered those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activities or projects, such as: - Operating expenses of the entity necessary for the development of the object activity or project of the subsidy, such as expenses of personnel directly affected by the fulfillment of the subsidized purpose (technicians, instructors, athletes, doctors...), sports equipment, travel (travel, accommodation and maintenance), expenses of federative activity (licenses, arbitrations, fees or participation fees).- Other current expenses directly related and necessary to
