Official description of the call
BASIS BY WHICH ART AND CUP 2025 IS REGULATED 1. Any artist of any nationality and origin can participate, as well as entities, galleries, associations and groups that promote art. Artists may present: pictorial work, sculptural work, installations or specific interventions in public spaces. 1.1. Interventions and installations must be technically evaluated and in no case may they spoil public space. 2. Spaces per sample: 2.1. Official spaces. The following are part of the exhibition: Can Planes – Art and Culture Spaces, Se Caballetes, Joan Soler Foundation, Can Rodillo, Su Congregation and Sa Pobla City Council. 2.2. Attached private spaces. They are those private spaces that participate with their own artistic proposal. A selection commission is established, which will ensure the quality of the works and installations to be exhibited and the participating spaces. This commission will be formed by two representatives from the artistic world and a representative from the Culture area of the Sa Pobla City Council. This commission will be responsible for the selection of artists and open participants in the official spaces. 3. Registrations can be made: 1.1. Dates: from August 5 to September 18, 2025. 1.2. Processing: 1.2.1. The Sa Pobla City Council will provide a single application form to participate in this award, which is attached as Annex Y to this call. For any information or support in the processing and monitoring of applications, you must contact the City Council offices located at Plaza de la Constitución, 1, 07420, sa Pobla (Balearic Islands). 1.1. Answer: 1.1.1. On September 19, the selection of participating artists and artists will be made, which will later be communicated to those interested. 1.2. Delivery and assembly: 1.2.1. The delivery of the works will be between September 23 and 26. The assembly will take place starting September 23. A member of the organization will establish a delivery schedule agreed with the artist. 4. Those interested in exhibiting their work must present the two annexes attached to the call. 4.1. Annex 1. Registration form with personal data. 4.2. Annex 2. Exhibition proposal that must include the title of the work, measurements, technique and an assembly diagram. 4.2.1. A minimum of three works will be presented in the case of painting, photography or sculpture. For other disciplines (performance, video art...) a photographic representation or audiovisual piece will be attached. 5. The commission reserves the right to invite those artists, entities, galleries, curators, collectives, associations and groups that are considered appropriate to participate in the event; and distribute the spaces with a criterion that seeks greater success and impact. Likewise, the commission will respect the right to freedom of expression of artists, and will seek parity in the selection of people who participate. 6. The packaging, transportation and insurance of the work are the responsibility of the artist. 7. Participants who have availability will be able to assemble and dismantle the work personally. Those who do not have availability will have to inform the organization. 7.1. The selection committee, in the exercise of curating the exhibition, will be responsible for the location of each work and will give final approval to the assembly. The organization will specify with the artists the day of assembly and disassembly of the works. 8. Registering a work or proposal to the exhibition implies the presumption of its authorship, and whoever registered it will be responsible for any claim that may be made. 9. During the event, the works corresponding to the different municipal exhibitions, installations and assemblies included in Arte y Copas will not be subject to purchase, there will be no direct sale of the work nor will it have prices visible to the visitor (except those that are located in galleries or privately owned spaces or those that, due to their corporate purpose, are expressly authorized by the commission). 10. The dismantling and removal of the works will be between October 13 and 26. After two months after this date, the organization is not responsible for the custody of the works. 11. All issues not stipulated in these rules will be resolved by the selection committee,
