Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Fathers, mothers, legal guardians or people temporarily or permanently in charge of the care of the beneficiaries can apply for this aid, as long as they are registered in the municipality of Palau-saverdera and have effective residence in the municipality during the entire course for which the aid is requested and are enrolled in an ESO course during 2024-2025. Likewise, applicants must be up to date with the payment of tax obligations with the Palau-saverdera City Council, with the Public Treasury and with Social Security. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to specify the procedure for granting subsidies for the acquisition of academic material for compulsory secondary education (ESO), as established in the bases approved by the Plenary on September 23, 2024. Third. Regulatory bases You can access the regulatory bases of these subsidies through the following link where they are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, consulting publication number 234 of December 5, 2024. https://ssl4.ddgi.cat/bopV1/pdf/2024/234/2024234010523.pdf Fourth. Amount The amount allocated to the subsidies is €4,000 and will be covered by item 231/480.00.03 (school book subsidies) of the 2025 budget. The amount of the subsidy will correspond to 100% of the cost of acquiring mandatory academic material for the 2024-25 academic year, up to a maximum of €60 per student, provided that the requirements of the first section of this call are met. This concept does not include the expenses derived from the acquisition of reading books, dictionaries, school agendas and other complementary material. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be determined in the corresponding annual call and in no case may it exceed FIFTEEN WORKING DAYS counting from the day following the day of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona. Sixth. Form and documentation to be submitted Form of presentation: Applications will be formalized by submitting a standardized application with the specific model, accompanied by the complementary documentation that appears in the bases of the call and is indicated below. The application models will be made available at the Citizen Services Office (OAC), as well as on the municipal website. Documentation to present: a) National Identity Document, NIE or Passport of the applicant (only in the case of an application made in person). b) Family book or other documents that prove the family relationship between the applicant and the student. c) Ticket or invoice for the acquisition of academic material and justification of the corresponding payment. These documents must be issued in favor of the applicant or the student. d) Bank details where, if the expenses are subsidized, the amount of the subsidy can be transferred. e) Declaration of subsidies or other income obtained for the same purpose and commitment to communicate to the City Council those obtained in the future. f) Commitment to comply with the conditions of the subsidy. g) Authorization to request and consult data from the AEAT, Social Security, Municipal Revenue and any other public administration, for the purposes of verifying compliance with the economic requirements. h) Authorization for the transfer and processing of personal data. Seventh. Other information Resolution period: The period to resolve the granting of aid is 40 business days from the day following the date of submission of the applications. Nature of the resolution and appeals against it: The express resolution of granting or denying aid exhausts the administrative route and against it an appeal for reconsideration may be filed, on an optional basis, before the body that issued it, within a period of one month from the day following receipt of the notification. Against the express rejection of the appeal for reconsideration, where appropriate, or directly against this resolution, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the contentious-administrative courts of the province of Girona or, at the choice of the interested person, those with territorial jurisdiction.
