CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF AID TO PROMOTE THE PARTICIPATION OR CARRYING OUT OF EXTRA-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES, WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE REGULATORY BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF SOCIAL AID IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VILOBÍ D'ONYAR FOR THE 2025-26 YEAR

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Family units that have minors enrolled in extracurricular activities for the 2025-2026 academic year and who are enrolled in early childhood, primary or compulsory secondary education or special education, registered in Vilobí d'Onyar, will be able to access the call. Second. Purpose The purpose of the subsidies of this call is to finance the program for the participation of extracurricular activities throughout the 2025-2026 school year whose purpose is to support and guarantee equal conditions in access to education for children and young people of compulsory school age, who are in a situation of vulnerability due to social and/or economic needs. These grants are granted to facilitate and support people in vulnerable situations, prioritizing situations of greatest need. Third. Regulatory Bases By agreement of the Plenary Session dated March 22, 2023, the New Regulatory Bases for the granting of social aid from the Vilobí d'Onyar City Council were approved. These Regulatory Bases were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona no. 79 dated April 24, 2023 and in DOGC nº8902 dated April 25, 2023. Fourth. Amount The maximum budget that will be allocated this year 2025 for the granting of social aid that is the subject of this call will be €4,000.00 and will be covered by application 2,231.48001. Beneficiaries may only receive a subsidy for carrying out an extracurricular activity, with a maximum amount of €400 in aid and it will be necessary to attend the activity with a minimum attendance of 80%. The value of the aid will depend on the score obtained in the application and the budget assigned to the call. In general, the maximum value that can be granted is 75% of the total cost of the eligible activity, but in exceptional cases justified by basic social services, it may reach 100%. In no case may the amount of aid awarded be higher than the justified expense. For this reason, the maximum amount set per student may be reduced to the amount of the duly justified expense. Fifth. Concession procedure The procedure for granting the subsidies subject to this call will be competitive competition. Sixth. Submission of applications and deadline The deadline for submitting applications for the aid program for participation in extracurricular activities for the 2025-26 academic year will be 20 days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the province. Applications must be submitted using the standardized form available on the Vilobí d'Onyar City Council website, duly completed and signed and accompanied by the corresponding documentation in each case, and must be submitted to the City Council registry. They may also be presented in any of the places provided for in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedures for public administrations. The presentation of the application presupposes knowledge or acceptance of the rules that regulate it.
