Official description of the call
1. Purpose of the subsidy. In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of the LGS, this City Council proceeds to make the call for the granting of subsidies aimed, on the one hand, at supporting entrepreneurs at the time of creating their companies by financing part of their expenses and, on the other hand, at supporting the transfer/modernization of already existing companies. Within these subsidies, there are 2 lines: 1. Support for the start-up of new business projects (Annex 1): The creation of new business projects in any economic sector will be encouraged, including those initiatives that arise as a result of an intrapreneurship process or a transfer of activity. 2. Support for the consolidation of companies by relocating/modernizing facilities (Annex 2): Companies in the commercial, hospitality and service sectors will be supported. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy LINE 1: Individuals, legal entities, civil societies and communities of property, who do not fall under any of the prohibitions established in article 13.2 of the LGS, may access this subsidy. The following will be excluded from the possibility of obtaining these subsidies: a) Companies with public participation, Public Companies and public law entities. b) The following activities or businesses: ˗ Stores selling tobacco. ˗ Gas stations. ˗ Recreational, gaming and betting rooms. ˗ Pharmacies. ˗ Vehicle dealers. ˗ Telephone services. ˗ Financial and insurance institutions. c) Large commercial and food chains. d) Companies arising from the mere change of ownership between first-degree relatives of others already existing in the same premises and same activity, in the 18 months prior to said change. Changes of ownership between first-degree relatives due to causes such as retirement, disability or death of the owner will not be subject to exclusion. e) Companies arising from the mere change of the legal form of a previous company. LINE 2: Individuals, legal entities, civil societies and communities of property in the commercial, hospitality and services sector of Eibar, who do not incur any of the prohibitions established in article 13.2 of the LGS, will be able to access this subsidy. The following will be excluded from the possibility of obtaining these subsidies: • Companies with public participation, Public Companies and public law entities. • Tobacco sales stores. • Gas stations. • Recreational, gaming and betting rooms. • Pharmacies. • Dealers. • Large commercial and food chains. • Telephone services. • Financial and insurance institutions. • Industries whose IAE falls under the “Technological Challenges” subsidy of the Eibar City Council. 3. Subsidy amount TOTAL AMOUNT: €200,000.00. • Amount available for line 1 (support for the start-up of new business projects): €120,000. • Amount available for line 2 (support for the consolidation of companies due to relocation/modernization): €80,000. 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to obtain subsidies, addressed to the convening body and signed by the beneficiary or person representing him/her, along with the attached documentation, will begin on September 1, 2025 and will end on October 1, 2025 (both inclusive). Subsidy applications must be made electronically through the municipal website, www.eibar.eus. To carry out the procedure electronically, it is necessary to have a digital certificate (B@K-Q, electronic DNI, IZENPE card, etc.).
