Official description of the call
In accordance with article 23.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, a call is made for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of extracurricular activities at the end of the stage of primary and secondary education, organized by educational centers, supported with public funds from the locality, by the competitive competition procedure, with the following content: Article 1.- REGULATORY BASES AND OFFICIAL DIARY IN WHICH THEY ARE PUBLISHED. Ordinance regulating the specific bases, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary Session, in a session dated December 28, 2017, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia No. 90 of May 11, 2018 and in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia No. 112 dated June 12, 2018, the rectification of a material error. Article 2.- BUDGET ITEM TO WHICH THE SUBSIDY IS ALLOCATED AND MAXIMUM TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE SUBSIDIES CALLED. 2.1.-The subsidies granted through this call will be processed for a maximum total amount of €20,000 charged to the following item of the 2025 Municipal Budget. ORG PROG ECON NAME ITEM 400 32602 4890000 Subsidies for extracurricular activities 2.2.- The City Council may authorize an additional amount, the application of which to the granting of subsidies will not require a new call. The use of the aforementioned additional amount is conditioned, prior to the resolution of the concession, to the approval, if applicable, of the appropriate budget modification and to the incorporation into the file of the certificate of existence of sufficient credit. Before the granting resolution, the availability of the additional credit will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, through the National Subsidies Database, without prejudice to its publication on the notice board and on the City Council's website, without such publicity implying the opening of a new period for submitting applications, nor the beginning of a new period for resolution. Article 3.- OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE AID. 3.1.- The purpose of these rules is to regulate the procedure under a competitive competition regime, for the granting of aid for the promotion of extracurricular activities at the end of the stage in Primary Education and Secondary Education, organized by educational centers, supported with public funds, in the town of Picassent. 3.2.- Notwithstanding the above, there is an exception to the requirement to establish an order of priority among the applications submitted that meet the established requirements, taking into account the total number of them once the submission period has ended, prorating, where appropriate, among all of them the credit stated in the call if it is not sufficient to meet them. 3.3.- The aid granted will be in the nature of a subsidy. Article 4.- REQUIREMENTS THAT BENEFICIARIES MUST MEET. 4.1.-The mothers and fathers, representatives or legal guardians, of the students of educational centers supported with public funds in the town of Picassent, registered in the municipality of Picassent on the date of publication of the call, who attend the extracurricular activities at the end of the stage of primary education and secondary education, organized by the educational centers of the town of Picassent, in the academic year, may be beneficiaries of this aid. 2024-2025. 4.2.-The acquisition of the status of beneficiary of the subsidy also requires compliance with the following general requirements: 4.2.1.- Not being subject to any of the circumstances provided for in articles 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on Subsidies, which disqualify them from having the status of beneficiary of the subsidy. 4.2.2.- Be up to date with compliance with tax or Social Security obligations. 4.2.3.- Be up to date with compliance with your tax obligations with the Picassent City Council. 4.2.4.- Not have any subsidy granted by the Picassent City Council pending justification, after the deadline. 4.3.- Taking into account the nature of the aid, in accordance with art. 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on Subsidies, the requirement of being up to date with the obligations is waived
