Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. 1. The beneficiaries of the aid for the organization of food fairs and markets, to be held in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, whose purpose is the promotion of food products from our region, will be the local corporations and the associative entities and non-profit groups of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria that meet the general and specific requirements established in this Resolution, and on which falls the financial burden, the final responsibility for eligible expenses and the performance of the activity. for which aid is granted. 2. The beneficiaries of aid for attendance and participation in food fairs, whose purpose is the promotion of food products from Cantabria, will be SMEs that are owners of food industries located in the territorial scope of our Autonomous Community, that meet the general and specific requirements established in this Resolution, and on which falls the financial burden, the final responsibility for eligible expenses and the performance of the activity for which the aid is granted. 3. Persons or entities who meet any of the circumstances provided for in sections 2 and 3 of article 12 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies, may not obtain the status of beneficiaries of the aid. The aforementioned aspects will be accredited by the applicants and beneficiaries of the aid through the presentation of the corresponding certificates and responsible declarations. 4. Companies in difficulty will be excluded from the scope of this Resolution, in accordance with the Community Guidelines on state aid for rescuing and restructuring companies in difficulty, and companies that are subject to a pending recovery order following a previous Commission decision that has declared aid illegal and incompatible with the internal market. 5. Communities of property, and other entities lacking legal personality, must comply with the provisions of article 10.3 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies, and will not be able to access the status of beneficiary when any of the prohibitions established in article 12 of the aforementioned Cantabria Subsidies Law apply to any of its members. Second. Object. Call for the year 2026, under a competitive competition regime, aid for the promotion of Cantabria food products through: a) The organization of food fairs and markets to be held in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. b) Attendance and participation in food fairs. Third. Regulatory bases. Order MED/1/2022, of January 11, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the promotion of food products from Cantabria (BOC No. 11, of January 18, 2022), modified by Order MED/17/2023, of May 3, (BOC No. 90, of May 11, 2023). Room. Amount. 1. The financing of the aid, subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the acquisition of the expenditure commitment, will be carried out with charge to the availability of budget applications 05.05.413A.461, 05.05.413A.471 and 05.05.413A.481, or equivalent, of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria by 2026, with a maximum amount of €300,000, €75,000 and €200,000, respectively. This distribution among the aforementioned budget applications is estimated in nature, with the provisions established in article 58.4 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, applicable in this regard. 2. The subsidies awarded under this call will be compatible with other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose from any public or private, national or international entity. 3. The amount of the subsidies may under no circumstances be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Applications for aid and their corresponding Annexes will be presented in the General Electronic Registry of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, or in any other registry or place provided for in article 134.8 of Law 5/2018.
