Subsidies to Associations and Non-profit Entities located in the municipality of Benidorm, intended for the implementation of International Development Cooperation Projects, fiscal year 2025

Official description of the call

FIRST: BENEFICIARIES: Non-profit Associations and Entities, legally constituted, may apply for a subsidy in the field of international cooperation to develop international programs in areas and countries that suffer from situations of impoverishment, based on internationally accepted indicators, such as the Human Development Index or similar, in accordance with the provisions of the United Nations Development Program. SECOND: OBJECT: It is the object of these Rules to regulate the granting of subsidies to Non-profit Associations and Entities, within the scope of International Cooperation, within the period between November 1, 2024 and October 31, 2025. The subsidy awarded may not exceed the maximum amount of €3,000 per association and a total credit of €15,000, THIRD: TERMS AND CONDITIONS REGULATORY: General Ordinance regulating subsidies of the Benidorm City Council published in BOP No. 104 of May 24, 2007 (http://www.dip-alicante.es/bop2/pdftotal/2007/05/24-05-07.pdf#page=13) and Specific Bases included in the call https://sede.benidorm.org/catalogo-de-servicios?p_p_id=BPMPortlet_WAR_bpmportlet_INSTANCE_gKKvfsYY5f4I&p_p_lifecycle=0&p_p_stat e=normal&p_p_mode=view&p_p_col_id=column-1&p_p_col_count=1&_BPMPortlet_WAR_bpmportlet_INSTANCE_gKKvfsYY5f4I_id=mswP23uEw2ak9ufh2 FOURTH: AMOUNT: The subsidies granted will be allocated to the budget application 18 2311 48900 OTHER TRANSFERS of the current budget, which has an allocation of €15,000 allocated for this purpose. The amount of the subsidy will be 90% of the budgeted amount up to a maximum of €3,000 per entity, with the entity responsible for financing at its own expense, or with other subsidies or income, the part of the expense that exceeds the municipal subsidy FIFTH: DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day following the publication of these Rules in the Official Gazette of the Province, and will end on the following day. 15 calendar days. SIXTH: OTHER INFORMATION: To participate in this Call, the applicant Entities must comply, AMONG OTHERS, with the following requirements, as well as the others established by the following Bases: 1. Be legally constituted and registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of Benidorm and in that of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation or in the corresponding one according to its purpose. 2. Have a stable and active Headquarters or Delegation in the municipality of Benidorm. 3. Have as express institutional purposes, according to their own Statutes and the characteristics of each entity, the carrying out of activities aimed at development cooperation. 4. Have sufficient structure to carry out the activities contemplated in the initiative.
