Subsidies to non-profit entities in the municipality of Benidorm for activities for comprehensive care for women, the prevention of gender violence and the promotion of female associations, annual 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Those non-profit entities whose activities are carried out, within the municipality of Benidorm, in the development of activities for the comprehensive care of women and the prevention of gender violence and the promotion of female associations may be beneficiaries of the aid. Requirements. Entities and associations must meet the following requirements: 1. They must be registered in the Registry of Associations of the Benidorm City Council, at least six months after the publication of these bases. 2. That they have their headquarters or stable, active and public delegation in the municipality of Benidorm. 3. Not be included in any of the circumstances that prevent obtaining the status of beneficiary of public subsidies indicated in art. 13 of the General Subsidies Law. 4. Be up to date with compliance with your tax and Social Security obligations imposed by current provisions, or, where applicable, have signed an agreement for the installment or postponement of debts with the corresponding Administration. 5. Be up to date with your obligations notified prior to December 31, 2024, with respect to Benidorm City Council, derived from any income. 6. Have justified any subsidy granted by this City Council in the 2024 year, or have formalized express waiver of the subsidy granted, prior to the end of the period established for the presentation of supporting documents for expenses. Second. Object. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of subsidies, through the ordinary procedure under a competitive competition regime, intended for non-profit entities in the municipality of Benidorm to contribute to the expenses derived from the organization and implementation of activities for comprehensive care for women, the prevention of gender violence and the promotion of women's associations, to be executed from November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2025. Third. Regulatory bases. Amount. The subsidies granted will be attributed to the budget application 18 2311 48900 of the current budget, which has an allocation of 15,000 euros allocated for this purpose. The amount of the subsidy may reach 100% of the cost of the project, up to a maximum of €3,000 per entity, with it being responsible for financing at its own expense, or with other subsidies or income, the part of the expense that exceeds the municipal subsidy. The aid granted will be compatible with other subsidies, income or resources for the same purpose from any public or private Administration. Fifth. Areas of action and expenses to be subsidized. Eligible activities will be those activities for comprehensive care for women, the prevention of gender violence and the promotion of female associations, related to the areas described below: 1. Prevention aimed at citizens. Workshops, talks, campaigns, conferences, studies and research to raise awareness, awareness, training and information in the following subjects: - Prevention of gender violence. - Promotion and recognition of care in the domestic sphere through actions that promote co-responsibility and the reconciliation of personal, work and family life. - Promotion of egalitarian masculinities. - Breaking down inequalities, gender roles and stereotypes. 2. Intervention aimed at women. Positive action measure, with the aim of correcting or alleviating existing imbalances in some sectors, namely: - Training to reduce the digital gender gap and promote the use of information and communication technologies. - Social inclusion and/or professional training for the socio-labor insertion of women in situations of special vulnerability such as those belonging to ethnic minorities, prisoners, victims of gender violence, etc. - Promotion of self-employment and women's business initiative. 3.
