Official description of the call

1.-It is the object of these specific bases to regulate the procedure under a direct concession regime, for reasons of social interest, in accordance with article 22, point 2 section c) of the General Law of Subsidies, of financial aid of a subsidy nature, in accordance with article 26 and following of the General Ordinance of Subsidies of Picassent, for single-parent families or single-parent families, with low income, until credit is exhausted, and following the strict order of initiation from from the moment of registration of the application in the form and place of submission of applications set forth below. 2.-The purpose of this aid is to facilitate the maintenance of single-parent families or single-parent families in their environment or social environment, with the overcoming of specific situations of family economic stress, due to the aggravated situation of the increase in inflation due to international circumstances that affects to a greater extent families in which there is only a single adult with possible income in the cohabitation unit. SECOND BASE. Budget credit and individual amount of aid. 1.- The maximum global limit of aid awards will be the total amount of €10,000.00 existing in the following item of the 2024 Municipal Budget: PROJECT ORG PROG ECON NAME ITEM AMOUNT2022 800COR6003 800 23101 4800851 Aid to single-parent families €12,000.00 2.-The City Council may authorize an additional amount, through the appropriate budget modification and the incorporation into the file, of a certificate of existence of sufficient credit by the Municipal Intervention. In the event of an increase in the maximum global amount, the granting body must publish in the BOPV the declaration of available credits prior to the granting resolution in the same media as the call, without such publicity implying the opening of the deadline to submit new applications or the start of a new calculation of the deadline to resolve. 3.-The maximum individual amount of aid per family is 400 euros. When the subsidized expense incurred is less than the amount of the aid, it will be reduced to the amount of the expense actually justified. 4.-The amount of the subsidies awarded, in no case may it be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies or aid from any of the Administrations or public or private entities, national or international, exceeds the cost of the expense to be subsidized. 5.-For these purposes, one of the obligations of the beneficiary is to notify the City Council of obtaining other subsidies, aid, income or resources that finance the subsidized activities, whether public or private. This communication must be made as soon as it is known and in any case at the time of the request. THIRD BASE. Concession procedure 1.-The granting of the aid regulated in this call will be made by the direct concession procedure, for reasons of social interest, in accordance with article 22, point 2 section c) of the General Law of Subsidies, in accordance with article 26 and following of the General Ordinance of Subsidies of Picassent, until credit is exhausted, and following the strict order of initiation from the moment of registration of the application in the form and place of presentation of the applications set out more forward. 2.-As this is a direct grant of subsidies, the evaluation of the applications will be limited to verifying that the expenses duly accredited in the manner provided for in these bases effectively correspond to those indicated therein and that the applicants meet the required requirements. Consequently, all applicant entities that meet the requirements will be beneficiaries for the maximum amounts established in the base until the budgetary credit enabled for this purpose in the municipal budget is exhausted. 3.-Only one aid will be granted per family unit. FOURTH BASE. Beneficiary families. 1.-The beneficiaries of this aid will be the holders of the single-parent family title card issued by the Generalitat Valenciana, according to Decree 19/2018, of March 9 of the Consell, with the current official title. In addition, adults who are going to be holders or have been holders of families that have applied for the official title may be applicants.
