Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First. Beneficiaries. Clubs with headquarters in the province of Valencia may benefit from the subsidies for the participation of their senior teams in official national and/or international competitions, of a non-professional nature, in the following sports competitions, during 2025: • 1st European club competitions, with minimum participation in that sport from eight countries and that qualify in their respective senior leagues. • 2nd Spanish Championships in the highest division and absolute category. • 3rd Official non-professional state leagues of absolute category, of the highest categories or the two official leagues of absolute category, immediately lower, that are held by a regular league system, organized or recognized by the corresponding Spanish federation. Specifically, the purpose of this call is to finance clubs that have their headquarters located in the province of Valencia, female and male, that demonstrate great sporting relevance based on their results in official competitions, based on their social impact and high level of the athletes who are members of the club, for the development of an official national or international sports competition recognized by the corresponding sports federation. Second. Object. In execution of the provisions of the current General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Excma. Provincial Council of Valencia (hereinafter OGS), is the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, by the Center for Tourism and Sports of the Provincial Council of Valencia to sports clubs with headquarters in the province of Valencia, for the participation of their senior teams, in official national and/or international competitions, of a non-professional nature. Third. Regulatory bases. The General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Valencia (approved by the Plenary Session on 12/4/2024 and published in BOP No. 45 of 03/06/2025) Fourth. Financing and amount. The maximum total amount set for the call, within the available credit, is 900,000 euros, and will be made effective from application 631.34100.48200 of the Provincial Council's Expense Budget for 2025. The amount of the subsidy may reach 100% of the eligible expenses of the activity, it may not exceed the amount requested and, in any case, €19,500 for individual sports and €40,000 for team sports. Fifth. Presentation deadline. Those interested in participating in this procedure must submit their applications within a period of FIFTEEN WORKING DAYS counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia.
