Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The municipalities of the province of Valencia whose population does not exceed 15,000 inhabitants may be beneficiaries, in accordance with the official population figures resulting from the review of the municipal register approved by the National Institute of Statistics and in force on the date of the end of the application submission period, provided that they do not have the status of tourist municipality recognized in accordance with the regulations in force on the date of submission of the application. Entities that meet any of the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiaries. Second. Purpose The purpose of the call is to grant, on a competitive basis, subsidies intended to finance investments made during the year 2026 in infrastructure and equipment for tourist resources. The eligible actions will be those investments aimed at enhancing tourism resources of a natural, landscape, historical-artistic and environmental nature, with the aim of configuring more competitive tourism products. Only investment expenses that can be inventoried and accounted for in Chapter 6 of the budget of the beneficiary entity will be eligible for subsidies. Expenses attributable to chapter 2 will not be eligible for subsidies. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of the call are those contained in the Decree of the Presidency of the Provincial Council of Valencia no. 9152, of July 23, 2026, as well as in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Valencia, approved by agreement of the Plenary Session of March 28, 2017 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia no. 101, of May 29, 2017, with its subsequent modifications. Amount The maximum total amount allocated to this call amounts to 900,000 euros, charged to the budget application 110 43200 76200 of the expenses budget of the Provincial Council of Valencia for the financial year 2026. The subsidy may reach up to 100% of the eligible expenses of the action, with a maximum amount of 8,000 euros per beneficiary entity. Fifth. Deadline and method of submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will end on September 15, 2026, inclusive. Applications and attached documentation must be submitted exclusively electronically, through the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council of Valencia, in accordance with the provisions of article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Applications submitted in paper format will not be accepted. Sixth. Documentation The application must be accompanied by the following documentation: a) Mayor's Resolution or agreement of the competent body by which the subsidy is requested, in accordance with the model in Annex I. b) Description and name of the investment for which the subsidy is requested, with details of the income and expenses, in accordance with the model in Annex II. c) Responsible declaration proving that the requesting entity is up to date with its tax obligations, with Social Security and for reimbursement of subsidies, and that it is not subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, in accordance with the model in Annex III. d) Document of registration or modification of third parties with the bank details, only when there has been some variation with respect to the data kept at the Provincial Council of Valencia. e) For the purposes of evaluating the applications, a responsible declaration must be provided, if applicable, by the legal representative of the accrediting entity that the action is carried out on historical-artistic, natural, environmental or landscape elements that have some degree of protection or declaration of interest, in accordance with the model in Annex IV. This declaration must clearly specify the impact of the action on the protected element, as well as its qualification.
