II Edition of the Càtedra Dona i Esport awards for the best final degree projects related to gender equality in the field of physical activity

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Students of any official degree from Spanish Universities who have completed and approved their final degree project on a topic related to gender equality, physical activity, exercise and/or sport in the 2022/2023 courses may apply for the Second Edition of the Càtedra de Dona i Esport awards for the best final degree projects related to gender equality in the field of physical activity and sport. 2023/24 and 2024/25. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to award the best final degree projects (TFG) presented in the 2022/2023, 2023/24 and 2024/25 academic years at any Spanish university, and that are nominated for the II edition of the Cátedra Dona i Esport Awards of the University of Valencia. The content of the work must be oriented towards the theme of gender equality and physical activity, exercise and/or sport, carried out from any area of knowledge. The purpose of the award is to encourage university students to study any aspect related to gender equality in sports and physical activity. Third. Regulatory bases: https://ir.uv.es/0QPyzb0 Fourth. Amount: The awards are financed by chapter VII of the budget of the Chair of Gift and Sports of the University of Valencia for the year 2025, organic 9290162768 and specific 20250362, for an amount of one thousand euros (€1,000). The following prizes will be awarded: First prize: endowed with €600 Second prize: endowed with €400 All prizes will be subject to the corresponding personal income tax withholding based on current regulations. The tutors or directors of the awarded works will receive an accreditation certificate from the Chair in recognition of their teaching work. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting works will be between the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana and October 10, 2025.
