Official description of the call

The aid in this call is covered by Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1057 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of June 24, 2021, establishing the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and repealing Regulation (EU) No. 1296/2013. First. Beneficiaries: Entities and institutions that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the subsidies: a) Have their own legal personality. b) Be specialized in the field of Hospitality and Tourism training through the accreditation of training actions/operations for employment in the hospitality sector through certification or accreditation issued by any Tourism and Hospitality School, Official entity or Public Administration with powers in the matter, determined in an accumulated amount of €594,000 (1.5 times the aggregate amount of the total budget of the Call) in the three previous years. To this end, its corporate purpose or activity must have a direct relationship with the hospitality and tourism sector and have sufficient material and personal means to carry out the activity of delivery, distribution and verification of the aid and subsidies required. c) Have the capacity to carry out the actions/operations referred to in article 1 of these BBRR, within the limits of the City of Melilla. d) Be up to date with your national and local Tax obligations, as well as with Social Security, at the time of requesting the subsidies and throughout the period that the action lasts. e) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary in accordance with the provisions of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, and article 27 of RD 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies. f) Prove financial solvency on the date of submission of the application through a report issued by the Financial Entity, indicating the average account balance during the twelve months prior to the date of publication of the call in BOME, which, in any case, must be for an amount equal to or greater than 5% of the sum of the subsidies requested, in order to ensure payment to suppliers. Second. Object. The purpose of the subsidies regulated in this Call is to finance the carrying out of various training operations aimed at the comprehensive training of unemployed people in the Hospitality and Tourism sector. Third. Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases for this call are found in Decree number 1081 of the Hon. Mr. President of the City registered in the Official Book of Non-collegiate Resolutions of the Presidency, at number 2023001081 (BOME EXTRAORDINARIO No. 91 dated 01/12/2023), which can be consulted at https://bomemelilla.es/bome/BOME-BX-2023-91 Fourth. Amount. A budget is established for this Call of €396,000, which will be financed through the budget application 08/24103/44900 RC No. 12025000022007 - FSE+ Regional Program of the Autonomous City of Melilla 2021-2027 CCI2021ES05SFPR020. 85% co-financed within the following framework: OP4. A more social and inclusive Europe, through the application of the European Pillar of Social Rights; Priority 1. Employment, adaptability, entrepreneurship and social economy; Specific Objective 4.1; Measure: 1.A.03 Trade Schools. Financing rate: 85%. Fifth. Eligible Projects/Operations. The training project that contains at least the following operations will be subsidized: EH25001. BASIC KITCHEN OPERATIONS (350 hours). Maximum amount to be subsidized €70,000 EH25002. KITCHEN (810 hours). Maximum amount to be subsidized €125,000 EH25003. ADVANCED CULINARY PREPARATION (240 hours) Maximum amount to subsidize €40,000 EH25004. BASIC RESTAURANT AND BAR OPERATIONS (290 hours). Maximum amount to be subsidized €55,000 EH25005 RESTAURANT SERVICES (580 hours). Maximum amount to be subsidized €85,000 EH25006. ADVANCED RESTAURANT AND BAR SERVICES (380 hours). Maximum amount to be subsidized €55,000 The global amount of the 6 subsidies to be approved will not exceed the amount of €396,000 established in article 2 of this Call. Sixth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 30 business days from the following day.
