Official description of the call
First. Purpose Granting of subsidies for programs and activities aimed at older people in the city of Girona with the aim of encouraging and promoting the participation of older people in programs of activities and services aimed at this group in the different neighborhoods through the centers for older people in the city of Girona and supporting those associations and/or entities that promote and organize activities in the city for the year 2025. Second. Award procedure The procedure for awarding subsidies will be that of competitive competition between applications that meet the corresponding requirements. Subsidies will be awarded in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, in accordance with what is established in the bases and this call. Third. Beneficiary entities and requirements The beneficiary entities will be the associations of pensioners and retirees and/or entities related to the elderly that collaborate in the management of the municipal homes for the elderly in different neighborhoods of the city of Girona and associations of pensioners and retirees and/or entities that carry out activities related to the elderly in different neighborhoods of the city of Girona and that carry out some of the following activities: Activity programs in homes for the elderly Programs of activities and directed services to pensioners and retirees from the different neighborhoods of the city of Girona managed by public homes for the elderly. Other activities and projects for older people Design and programming of activities that enhance experiences aimed at groups of older people in the different neighborhoods of the city of Girona. The requirements that applicant entities must meet: Comply with current regulations regarding taxes and licenses. Not have to justify any subsidy previously granted by this City Council, except that the justification period has not yet elapsed. Not incur any of the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Be up to date with compliance with tax obligations and those of the General Treasury of Social Security. Not having been subject to final administrative sanctions or final convictions for having exercised or tolerated discriminatory practices based on sex or gender, in accordance with Law 17/2015, of July 21, on effective equality between women and men. Comply with the conditions required by article 9 of the General Subsidy Ordinance of the Girona City Council, its autonomous bodies and entities that depend on being a beneficiary of the subsidy. Fifth. Financial envelope The amount of the subsidy is up to a maximum of €80,000 and will be financed from the following budget item 2025 510 23000 48001 Subsidies for Casals de la Gent Gran and will be allocated to: - In the form of Activity Programs in Casals de la Gent Gran, the amount of the subsidy requested may not exceed the amount of 10,000.00 € and will be, at most, 90% of the total budget of the project. - In the category of Other activities and projects for older people, the amount of the requested subsidy may not exceed the amount of €5,000.00 and will be, at most, 50% of the total budget of the project. The amount of the subsidy is determined in this call, subject to the approval of the budget, without prejudice to any increases in the amount that may be agreed upon during the validity of the budget year, in accordance with art. 58.2 of Regulation 887/2006, of July 21, developing the General Subsidies Law, up to a maximum of 20% additional to the allocation of this call.
