Official description of the call
First. Call. In order to value and stimulate the research work of university students, the University of Huelva, at the initiative of the Vice-Rectorate of Transfer and Territorial Development, and the Aguas de Huelva Chair of Social Innovation, announces these Awards that focus on the granting of eight prizes for those Final Degree Projects and Master's Final Projects carried out at the University of Huelva and which may deal with any subject covered by the degree taken. but limited to the lines of interest for the Aguas de Huelva Chair of Social Innovation, such as: - Line of Social Innovation: innovative projects that provide solutions to society's challenges for a fairer development and that promote new formulas for social progress. - Line of Operational Innovation and Environmental Conservation: innovative projects related to improving efficiency to reduce the impact of human activities on the Environment and raising awareness towards limited natural resources, especially water.This call for awards is included within the Strategic Subsidy Plan of the University of Huelva 2025-2027 (approved by the Government Council on January 29, 2025) with the code PES-UHU/2025/36.ígrafes)Second. Financing.The modalities and prizes awarded will be:- For the TFGs of the Social Innovation line:• A first prize with a prize of 600 euros.▪ A second prize with a prize of 350 euros.-For the TFGs of the Social Innovation line:•A first prize with a prize of 600 euros.•A second prize with a prize of 350 euros.-For the TFGs of the Social Innovation line. Operational Innovation and Environment: • A first prize with a prize of 600 euros. • A second prize with a prize of 350 euros. - For the TFM the line of Operational Innovation and Environment: • A first prize with a prize of 600 euros. • A second prize with a prize of 350 euros. Payment of these prizes will be: Expenditure center 80017000 - program 321A – economic classification 481.99: 3,800.00 euros. Fourth. Beneficiaries. Those who meet the following requirements may participate in this call:• Submit all the required documentation within the deadlines and manner established in this call.• Have defended their TFG/TFM in any degree from the University of Huelva during the 2024/25 academic year or in the November/December call of the 2023/2024 academic year. • Not having received any prize, both monetary or non-monetary, related to the TFG/TFM presented. • Having obtained a minimum grade of 8 out of 10 in the TFG/TFM presented. • Having worked on a topic related to any of the lines previously mentioned in point 1. • The works must address topics of interest to the Aguas de Huelva Chair of Social Innovation, as well as indicate the SDG with which it is related, and the applicant must clearly state in the letter of motivation for these aspects. Comply with the deadlines and other provisions established in this call. The award is made on a competitive basis. The assessment criteria for the TFG/TFM presented will be: • Novelty and relevance of the conclusions of the TFG/TFM with respect to the topics of interest related to point I of the call: up to 4 points. • Qualification of the TFG/TFM. - Notable. 1 point.-Outstanding: 2 points.-Honors: 3 points• Quality of the presentation, writing and clarity of the report: up to 3 points.Fifth. Application submission period. The application submission period will be open until fifteen days after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (B.O.J.A.).
