Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries may be those who, on the closing date of the application submission period, meet the requirements indicated below, as well as all those established in article 8 of the call resolution. Senior modality: Teaching and/or research staff with indefinite career or contractual civil servant affiliation, with full-time dedication and in active service. You must be in possession of a doctorate degree and have obtained a doctorate degree prior to January 1, 2014. “José Castillejo” junior modality: Teaching and/or research staff with an interim or contractual civil servant relationship, indefinite or temporary, at least until the end date of the stay, with full-time dedication and in active service. You must be in possession of a doctorate degree and have obtained the doctorate degree after January 1, 2014. In the case of applicants who are career civil servants in the teaching bodies or research ranks of the CSIC and OPIS, regardless of the date of obtaining the doctorate degree, they must always attend the senior modality. Second. Purpose: To finance mobility stays for teaching and/or research personnel in foreign higher education and research centers, the minimum duration of which will be three months and the maximum duration of six months, non-extendable and in a single period. Professors and/or researchers may request to carry out the stay from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027. However, those professors and/or researchers who wish to carry out the stay earlier may request that the start date be from September 1, 2026. In these cases, when the start date of the stay has been requested for 2026, if the aid is granted, it will only be effective as long as the start and/or completion of the stay in the terms required in the call and on the dates established in the concession resolution. Applicants who choose to apply to the Fulbright Program must request a start date of January 1, 2027 to meet the requirements necessary to obtain official recognition as a Fulbright recipient and receive the corresponding visa under the sponsorship of the US government. Stays will be requested and granted, in all cases, from the 1st day of the starting month until the last day of the ending month. The stay must be requested for a single destination center, foreign and located outside the national territory, which will be the receiving center. Only in cases where the candidate certifies a degree of disability equal to or greater than 65% will mobility abroad not be mandatory and the receiving center may be Spanish and, exceptionally, be in Spanish territory. Third.
