Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Companies may be beneficiaries of this aid, in accordance with the detailed definition in Annex I of the regulatory bases, with a tax domicile located in Spanish territory, or that have a tax residence or a permanent establishment in Spanish territory in accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2004, of March 5, which approves the consolidated text of the Non-Resident Income Tax Law. In addition, applicant entities must prove compliance with the requirements established in article 8.2 “Beneficiaries and Requirements” of the Regulatory Bases. Second. Purpose: The purpose of the Call is to select beneficiaries for the granting of aid, on a competitive basis, and in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, equality and non-discrimination, aimed at carrying out experimental development projects that promote the adoption of artificial intelligence in the field of health. The projects will have as their objective the experimentation in an environment with real data of solutions based on artificial intelligence that respond to use cases in the different areas of the healthcare process (prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, care and monitoring), clinical, biomedical and pharmacological research, the management of health systems or the response to health emergency situations. Third. Regulatory bases: Order TDF/1213/2025, of October 14, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of aid for the implementation of experimental development projects that promote the adoption of artificial intelligence in the field of health and proceeds to its call corresponding to the year 2025. Fourth. Amount: The maximum total amount of aid amounts to fifty million euros (€50,000,000), distributed by groups of regions in accordance with the provisions of article 38 of the Call. The minimum amount of aid to be granted for each application will be €400,000 and the maximum will be €5,000,000. The intensity of the aid for each application is included in article 15 of the regulatory bases in accordance with article 25 of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of June 17, 2014, and Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1315 of June 23, 2023, which modifies said regulation. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be two (2) months from the day following the publication of the extract of the Call in the "Official State Gazette." Sixth. Other information: Beneficiaries may request an advance payment of the aid as long as the requirements established in article 28 “Deadlines for aid and advances” of the regulatory bases are met. For this Call, the maximum advance payment is 40% of the aid granted. The project execution period may begin from the date of submission of the application to Red.es, and may not exceed a maximum of 24 months from the publication of the resolution granting the aid. The beneficiary must complete the justification of the aid within a maximum period of three months from the conclusion of the project.
