Regulatory bases and call for subsidies 2025, under a competitive competition regime for non-governmental organizations, foundations, associations or non-profit entities that promote actions of solidarity and development cooperation

Official description of the call

FIRST.- Beneficiaries In general, non-governmental organizations, foundations, associations or other entities that meet the following requirements may apply for this subsidy: a) Be legally constituted entities and be registered in the corresponding public registry. b) Lack of profit motive. c) Among its purposes are to promote actions of solidarity and development cooperation between peoples. d) Be up to date with tax obligations with the Alcalá la Real City Council, the Tax Agency and Social Security. e) Not have pending reimbursement or justification, outside the established deadlines, other subsidies granted by the Alcalá la Real City Council. f) Comply with the rest of the requirements determined in article 13 of the General Subsidies Law -LGS-. SECOND.- Purpose Projects or activities that include, within their lines of action, one or some of the following aspects will be eligible for subsidies: · Actions that respond to the economic and social development needs of the target populations. · Actions related to the eradication of poverty, food, housing, education, etc., as well as those aimed at alleviating the effects derived from humanitarian emergency situations or those at imminent risk. · Humanitarian action projects, with actions in some specific or prolonged serious situation that constitute an emergency for the affected population. · Actions that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable population or victims of natural disasters or conflicts caused by humans, in order to satisfy their basic needs, restore their rights and guarantee their protection. · Preventive actions are aimed at avoiding, preventing, reducing and managing natural disasters or war conflicts. · Actions that raise awareness and stimulate networking, solidarity and commitment and improve knowledge and information for citizens about the most disadvantaged populations in developing areas and/or countries. · Actions that encourage citizen participation in the beneficiary community and increase their management capacity. · Actions that affect the creation and consolidation of human rights. • Actions that contribute to the development of the Sustainable Development Goals included in the framework of the 2030 Agenda. Those projects and/or activities carried out between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 will be subsidized. Projects started or started and completed before submitting the application may be subsidized, as long as they correspond to the execution period established in the previous paragraph. THIRD.- Regulatory bases The bases applicable to this call appear on the electronic headquarters of the Alcalá la Real City Council https://alcalalareal.sedelectronica.es/, on its website https://alcalalareal.es/ and in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS). FOURTH.- Amount The budget allocation for the aid regulated in these bases will be a maximum global amount of €5,000, charged to the budget application 2312 49000 FIFTH.- Deadline and place for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications and documentation will be 15 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Jaén, in accordance with the provisions of article 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17. Submission of applications after the deadline will constitute grounds for exclusion from the grant awarding procedure. Participation in this call must be processed through the electronic headquarters of the Alcalá la Real City Council website https://alcalalareal.sedelectronica.es/ by filling out the standardized electronic form that will be signed electronically, by the legal representative of the entity, with the personal digital certificate (DNIe, etc.) and which will be accompanied by the documentation required in article 7. A single application will be submitted for each applicant Association or Entity. The submission of the subsidy application presupposes knowledge and acceptance of the rules that regulate it.
