Official description of the call
First. Object The objective of the call is the granting of subsidies to sports entities that promote the lower categories and participate in federated sports competitions in 2025, to support the activities carried out by the municipality's non-profit associations, in accordance with the specific bases approved on September 29, 2025. Second. Beneficiaries and requirements Legally constituted non-profit entities or associations that promote cultural activities with general interest purposes for which the subsidy is requested and that meet the requirements established in point 3 of the specific bases are eligible. Third. Application and submission deadline In compliance with article 14.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations (LPAC), non-profit citizen entities and stable groups (groups of natural persons) will have to submit subsidy applications through the electronic headquarters. The documentation to be presented is that established in point 3.3 of the specific bases. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP of Girona. Room. Budget credit allocated and maximum total amount allocated The subsidies subject to this call are financed from budget item number 14 341 48021 “Subsidy for federated sports”, of the municipal budget corresponding to the year 2025, allocating a maximum of €40,000.00. Fifth. Activities subject to the subsidy The subsidized activities must correspond to the scope of activity of the Sports Department of the Castelló d'Empúries City Council and fall within the types detailed in point 1 of the specific bases. Sixth. Allocation criteria, competent bodies and procedure The criteria for the allocation of subsidies and the competent bodies will be those established in points 7 and 8, respectively, of the specific bases. The ordinary procedure for granting subsidies will be processed on a competitive basis by comparing the applications submitted. The instruction of the procedure will correspond, in any case, to the Sports Area. The resolution of the concession will correspond to the competent body of the Mayor's Office based on the amount subsidized in accordance with articles 21 and 22 of the Local Regime Bases Law 7/1985. Seventh. Resolution and notification period The resolution of the submitted applications will be carried out by agreement of the Local Government Board, which will be adopted within a maximum period of 3 months counting from the day following the end of the period to submit applications and will be carried out in accordance with article 25 of Law 37/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. Without prejudice to the foregoing and the City Council's obligation to expressly resolve all requests submitted, once 6 months have passed since the start of the procedure without the interested parties having received notification of the resolution, it will be understood that the request has been rejected due to administrative silence. Eighth. Project execution period, acceptance of the subsidy and obligations The projects presented must be developed from January 1 to December 31 of fiscal year 2025, or during the sports season that ends in this fiscal year (August 2025 – July 2025). Ninth. Payment method and justification. The processing of the payment of the subsidies will begin upon presentation of all the documentation required in the call and after the resolution of the Local Government Board. To justify the subsidies received, the beneficiary entities will have to present a list of invoices that justify the expenses generated during the execution of the subsidized project or program, before March 31 of the year following the granting of the subsidy, as well as those justification requirements established in the general ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies to the Castellón City Council. In any case, at least double the subsidy received must be correctly justified. Advances, payments on account and justification of the subsidies received are established in point 13 of the bases. d
