Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Those people who: - Effectively perform the functions of Data Protection Officer in an entity or organization in the public or private sector may take part. - Submit the candidacy in your personal capacity, on your own behalf, as those responsible for the project or actions carried out within the framework of your duties as DPD. - They prove that they are registered in the Registry of Data Protection Delegates of the Spanish Data Protection Agency on the date on which the actions under assessment were carried out. Second. Purpose: Its purpose is to recognize projects or actions developed within the framework of the functions of the Data Protection Delegate that represent a significant and innovative contribution in any of the following aspects:-Promotion and effective implementation of regulatory compliance in terms of data protection.-Promotion of the institutional culture of privacy in organizations.-Training of organizational staff.-Promotion of the active participation of the community of professionals and the dissemination of good practices in the professional field. Third. Regulatory Bases: Resolution of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, dated November 17, 2025, published on the website www.aepd.es.Cuarto. Prize: The "Award for the work of the Data Protection Delegate" will have two modalities: public sector and private sector. The public sector modality is not endowed with a financial prize. A diploma with honorable mention and a trophy accrediting the recognition obtained will be awarded. The private sector modality will be endowed with a prize of three thousand euros (€3,000.00), in addition to a diploma and a trophy accrediting the recognition obtained. Fifth. Application submission deadline: Applications must be submitted from the day following the date of publication of these bases in the Official State Gazette. The deadline for submitting works will end on January 31, 2026.
