Summary
This grant is aimed at large companies, natural persons who do not develop economic activity, legal persons that do not develop economic activity, smes (small and medium enterprises). Scope: ESPAÑA. Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Any natural person, public or private entity that has developed projects, activities, measures, products or services related to the purpose of the call may be eligible for the prize. Second. Object. Its purpose is to recognize the development of projects, activities, products, services, or measures, coming from the public or private sphere, that are distinguished by their originality, creativity, innovation and social impact in relation to the protection of personal data and the guarantee of the rights and freedoms of people belonging to groups in vulnerable situations, as well as in the prevention and fight against digital violence. The award is structured in two categories: • Modality A; Protection against digital gender violence, which will reward actions aimed at combating the illicit or inappropriate use of personal data in contexts of gender-based violence, control or harassment, promoting prevention, awareness and reparation for victims. • Modality B: Protection of other vulnerable groups: older people, people with disabilities, LGTBIQ+ population, minors or migrants, which recognizes initiatives to prevent digital risks, guarantee privacy, or promote safe digital empowerment. Third. Regulatory Bases. Resolution of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, dated November 17, 2025, published on the website www.aepd.es. Room. Prize. The prize will consist of a financial award of three thousand euros (€3,000.00), in each of the modalities, if the winning candidacy corresponds to a natural person or private entity and the dissemination of the prize through the website and on the AEPD profiles on social networks. The winning candidacy will have an honorable mention, through a diploma awarded for this purpose, as well as a trophy accrediting the award obtained. In the event that the winning candidate for the award is a public entity, the award will consist of an honorable mention without a financial award and the dissemination of the project presented. Likewise, the winners will be awarded a trophy accrediting the prize they have won. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Applications must be submitted from the day following the date of publication of these bases in the Official State Gazette. The deadline for submitting works will end on January 31, 2026.
