Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Beneficiaries of this aid may be natural or legal persons, or groups of natural or legal persons, including communities of property, civil companies without a commercial purpose and farms under a shared ownership regime that, at the time of submission of the application, are owners of an agricultural farm located in Cantabria and meet the condition of professional farmer, present an environmental improvement plan for the farm or an improvement plan, depending on the line they wish to apply for. Second. Object. The purpose of this Resolution is to call for the year 2026, under a competitive competition regime, aid for carrying out productive investments in agricultural holdings in Cantabria in order to contribute to the improvement of life and work of farmers, the improvement of structures and the adaptation of farms, improving their market orientation and competitiveness. In addition, it aims to contribute to the mitigation of climate change and adaptation to its effects as well as sustainable energy, to promote sustainable development and efficient management of natural resources such as water, soil and air and to improve the response of EU agriculture to social, food and health demands, in particular with safe, nutritious and sustainable food products, as well as with regard to food waste and animal welfare. Third. Regulatory bases. Order DES/08/2024 of March 8, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for carrying out productive investments linked to contributing to the mitigation-adaptation to climate change, efficient use of natural resources and the modernization and/or improvement of agricultural holdings in Cantabria (BOC of March 11, 2024), modified by order DES/30/2025, of October 28, (BOC November 4, 2025). Room. Amount. 1 The amount of aid being called amounts to 6,000,232.56 euros that will be co-financed, as provided for in Article 91 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/2115, as follows: a) Investments in agricultural holdings linked to contributing to the mitigation-adaptation to climate change, efficient use of natural resources, the improvement of energy efficiency and the production of green energy in the agricultural holdings in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. (Environmental Improvement Line): The total amount of public spending planned for this measure is 930,232.56 euros, co-financed as follows: - 400,000.00 euros through the EAFRD with the following annuities and amounts: 400,000.00 euros for the year 2026 and 0.00 euros for the year 2027. - 530,232.56 euros by the Autonomous Community of Cantabria charged to the budget application 05.03.414A.771 or equivalent of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community, with the following annuities and amounts: 530,232.56 euros for the year 2026 and 0.00 euros for the year 2027. b) Investments in modernization and/or improvement of agricultural holdings in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. (Modernization Line): The total amount of public spending planned for this measure is 5,070,000.00 euros, co-financed as follows: - 2,000,000 euros through the EAFRD with the following annuities and amounts: 500,000.00 euros for the year 2026 and 1,500,000.00 euros for the year 2027. - 2,651,162.80 euros by the Autonomous Community of Cantabria charged to the budget application 05.03.414A.771 or equivalent of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community, with the following annuities and amounts: 662,790.70 euros for the year 2026, and 1,988,372.10 euros for the year 2027. - 418,387.20 euros of additional financing from the Government of Cantabria charged to the budget application 05.03.414A.771 or equivalent of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community, with the following annuities and amounts: 104,709.30 euros for the year 2026 and 314,127.90 euros for the year 2027. In accordance with article 56.2 of the Regulations of the General Law of Subsidies, the above maximum amounts, as well as their distribution, are estimated in nature, so the granting of subsidies is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution. 2.
