Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b and 20.8 a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database ((https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias)) and in this DOE (https://doe.juntaex.es/). First. Beneficiary persons and entities. Entities and people that meet any of the following conditions may be beneficiaries of this aid: 1. Private non-profit entities, legally constituted and registered in accordance with the applicable regulations, such as federations, associations, foundations, clubs, confederations or others of a similar nature, whose statutory purposes are related to the support, promotion or dissemination of bullfighting culture. 2. Local entities of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, including municipalities, minor local entities, associations, provincial councils and public organizations that depend on or are linked to them. 3. Natural persons who prove their professional connection with bullfighting by registration in the General Registry of Bullfighting Professionals of the Ministry of Culture. 4. Legal entities whose corporate purpose, included in their statutes, is linked to the bullfighting field. Second. Object. This call has the granting of subsidies aimed at financing regional projects aimed at promoting, supporting, disseminating, defending and disseminating Bullfighting, with the aim of promoting this cultural manifestation in the territory of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. Third. Regulatory bases. Decree 163/2025, of November 25, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies aimed at supporting and promoting bullfighting culture in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and approves the first call. Room. Eligible expenses. 1. Eligible expenses, in accordance with the provisions of article 36 of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, are those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity, are strictly necessary, are carried out and are effectively paid and justified in the calendar year of the call. For these purposes, the following will be considered eligible expenses, among others: a) Expenses derived from the organization and execution of events that correspond to the purpose of the subsidy, such as acquisition of furniture, assembly, transportation, rental of spaces, hiring of speakers, technical or artistic personnel. b) Subsistence, accommodation and mileage expenses for speakers of recognized prestige in the bullfighting field. c) Transportation expenses for students and teachers of bullfighting schools who participate in practical classes, master classes with cattle, calves, tentaderos and bags held in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. d) Advertising and dissemination expenses inherent to carrying out the subsidized activities, including graphic materials in physical or digital format. e) Expenses directly associated with the preparation and editing of self-produced books, documentaries or audiovisual materials. f) Expenses directly associated with the celebration of gastronomic days related to bullfighting meat, provided that their purpose is to disseminate its properties, culinary uses and cultural value, such as the acquisition of raw materials and food products necessary for preparation, demonstration and tasting; hiring specialized personnel (chefs and gastronomic promoters); contracting catering or restaurant services; rental and assembly of spaces or equipment for culinary demonstrations or tastings, as well as other associated logistical costs. Fifth. Amount of aid. 2. In order to meet the greatest possible number of applications until the expected credit is extinguished, the amount of the subsidy awarded per application and call will be 100% of the eligible project, and in no case may it exceed 15,000 euros. 3. In the event that the overall amount of the project presented exceeds the maximum limit of 15,000 euros, the applicant entity must cover and justify the part of the expense that exceeds said limit.
