Alcantarilla Extract from the Agreement of the Local Government Board of November 18, 2025, by which the call and bases of the V INVESTIGARCO 2026 Contest are approved In accordance with the provisions of arts. 17.3 and 20.8.a), of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted on the municipal website www.alcantarilla.es First. Beneficiaries: Students of Baccalaureate and/or Intermediate and Higher Level Vocational Training enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year in educational centers supported by public funds and private and/or subsidized centers in the Region of Murcia may request participation in the contest. Second. Purpose: The call and bases of the V INVESTIGARCO 2026 Third Contest. Regulatory Bases: General regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies by the Alcantarilla City Council, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary dated May 19, 2016 and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, number. 293, of December 20, 2016. Fourth. Amount: The Alcantarilla City Council will award the following prizes: First and second prize for Modality A worth €1,500 and €1,000 respectively. First and second prize for Modality B worth €1,500 and €1,000 respectively. *The prizes awarded by the Alcantarilla City Council and the Department of Education are subject to the corresponding withholdings established by law. The prizes will be subject to the withholdings established by current regulations for this purpose. The total amount of the prizes to be awarded amounts to 5,000 euros, which will be charged to item 10304.3210.481 “Prizes, Scholarships, Contests, Etc.” of the corresponding municipal budget, for which RCFUT 202500022750 has been carried out on said item, stating in the Budget project for 2026 the existence of that credit in that item, according to information provided by the Economic Area. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications: 1.-Submission of applications: Works will be registered between January 9 and 19, 2026 until 11:59 p.m. No application will be accepted outside this period. 2.-Presentation of the documentation of the project or research work. (Annex memory). The report or documentation will be presented from March 16 to 24, 2026 (both inclusive). 3.-Resolution or ruling of the jury. Once the projects have been evaluated, the jury will decide on May 12, 2026. It will publish the winners on the Alcantarilla City Council website. Likewise, the award-winning projects will be informed through the email and/or telephone numbers provided when submitting applications. Sixth. Other information: Projects can be carried out individually or in groups of a maximum of 3 people. Only two applications can be submitted for each center in each of the modalities. The works presented must be original and have been carried out by the author or authors thereof. It will be appreciated if a YouTube link is provided so that the jury can view a video of maximum 2 minutes in which the project is explained by its authors. The works presented must not have been awarded in any other competition or competition prior to this one. Each application will consist of: Data on the participating students. Data of the educational center to which the request belongs. Data of the department and teaching staff responsible for the student or group submitting the request. The jury will be made up of: - The councilor responsible for Education, an official from the Department of Education, who will act as secretary, and various personalities from the world of Education and the business community of the Region of Murcia.
