EXP. 8891/2025.- CALL FOR THE GRANT, UNDER A REGIME OF COMPETITIVE CONCURRENCY, OF TRANSPORTATION AID FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND MIDDLE AND HIGHER GRADE TRAINING CYCLES (AS LONG AS THE V.P. IS NOT TAUGHT IN THE MUNICIPALITY)

Official description of the call

First. This call for the granting, on a competitive basis, of aid intended to partially finance the transportation costs of students pursuing university studies and intermediate and higher level vocational training courses (as long as the V.P. is not taught in the municipality), is governed by the regulatory bases that were approved by the municipal plenary session on May 30, 2017, and that were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante number 144, of July 28, 2017. Second. The total amount that the Almoradí City Council will allocate to this aid in this call amounts to 30,000 euros, which will be financed from budget application 929,480.67 of the General Budget of 2026. This call is carried out through the advance processing procedure, in which the call is approved in a previous budget year (2025) to the one in which it will take place. its resolution (2026), this last year being the year in which both the granting of the aid and the execution of the expenditure it represents will occur. In this case, the granting of aid will be conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting decision. Third. The aid is aimed at encouraging students registered in the municipality of Almoradí to undertake university studies and intermediate and higher level training cycle studies (as long as the vocational training is not taught in the municipality), by partially financing their transport costs. Room. Any natural person who meets the following requirements may be a beneficiary of aid: • Be registered in the municipal registry of inhabitants of Almoradí with a minimum seniority of 1 year. • Be enrolled in a public or private or distance university (UNED), or enrolled in a medium or higher level training cycle (as long as the F.P is not taught in the municipality) and carry out their studies in the 2025-2026 school year. University studies are understood to be those leading to obtaining the qualifying Master's degree (which is an essential requirement to be able to practice the profession for which one has studied), Degree, Graduate, Engineer, Architect, Diploma, Master, Technical Engineer or Technical Architect. Higher artistic education is included (higher studies in Music and Dance, higher education in Dramatic Art, higher education in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets, higher education in Design and higher education in Plastic Arts). The following studies are excluded from this call: • Teachings taught in non-regulated education centers. • Teaching elementary and professional degrees in Music and Dance. • Language studies in Official Schools owned by Public Administrations. • Third cycle or doctoral studies, specialization studies, university degrees, master's degrees and non-qualifying postgraduate studies. All requirements must be met by the end date of the application submission period. Persons who meet any of the circumstances listed in article 3.5 of the regulatory bases for the granting of this aid will not be able to obtain beneficiary status. Fifth. Scholarship applications will be addressed to the Mayor-President of the Almoradí City Council. They will be presented in the General Registry of this City Council, in the General Electronic Registry of this City Council (located in the electronic headquarters), or in the manner determined by article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month, counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. The City Council will make an official application form available to interested parties. Together with the application, the following documentation will be submitted: • Photocopy of the document that proves the identity of the applicant (DNI, NIE, Passport, etc.). • Photocopy of the document proving that the applicant is enrolled in a public or private or distance university (UNED), or enrolled in a medium or higher level training cycle (as long as the F.P. is not impassable).
