December 12, 2025, from the Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Agenda, which calls for aid for the dissemination, promotion and research of architecture corresponding to the year 2025.

Official description of the call

First. – Beneficiaries. Natural persons, as well as legal entities of Spanish nationality, from any Member State of the European Union or from the signatory States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, or from other nationalities, may be beneficiaries, as long as they have their tax residence in Spain and are legally incorporated on the date of the end of the application submission period. Second. - Object. The purpose of aid for the dissemination, promotion and research of architecture is to disseminate the transformative potential of architecture through activities such as publications, exhibitions, installations, conferences, festivals, conferences, training programs, workshops, presentations, audiovisual projects or others of a similar nature. Third. - Regulatory Bases. This call will be governed, in general, by the provisions of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (LGS), in Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (RLGS) and in the Order VAU/1177/2025, of October 20, which modifies Order VAU/1165/2024, of October 19, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, whose objective is activities on the dissemination, promotion and research of architecture. Additionally, it will be governed by the provisions of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and by any other regulatory provision that, due to its nature, may be applicable. Room. – Amount. The maximum amount attributable to the call will be €2,500,000.00. In accordance with article 56 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, this call will be approved in a budgetary year prior to that in which both the resolution thereof and the execution of the expenditure will take place, as the requirement that said article provides, in the letter a) of the first section, for advance processing. Therefore, the maximum total amount previously established for this call will be estimated and the granting of subsidies will be conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution. Given the above, the aid granted will be defrayed with the credits contemplated in the Expenditure Budget of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda for the year 2025, loaded in the corresponding budget applications of chapter 7, subchapters 75.8, 77 and 78, of program 261O, of Planning and promotion of construction. Fifth. - Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be forty business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda. The electronic headquarters will be available from the day following the publication of this resolution on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda and until 11:59 p.m. on the last day of presentation. Sixth. - Procedure. The granting of these aids will be carried out on a competitive basis, in accordance with the principles of objectivity, transparency, equality, non-discrimination and publicity. The competent body for the instruction of the procedure will be the General Subdirectorate of Architecture and Building. In accordance with article 7 of the Order that establishes the regulatory bases for this aid, the evaluation will be carried out by an Assessment Commission. Said commission may collect additional information from interested parties and reports from the services of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, as well as from professionals or experts of proven qualifications, who preferably hold the professional qualification of architects, for the better development of the functions entrusted to it. The Assessment Commission, after comparing the applications submitted in accordance with the assessment criteria established in the call, will issue a report in which the result of the evaluation and a priority of the applications will be specified.
