Official description of the call

BDNS (Identif): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, and in article 16.q) of Law 6/2011, of March 23, of Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted at the National Subsidies Database http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Recipients of aid. SMEs that meet the general requirements and the specific requirements demanded in article 35 of the regulatory bases decree. Second. Object. The purpose of the call is to finance industrial research or experimental development projects carried out by small and medium-sized companies in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of this aid are set out in Decree 57/2023, of May 24, establishing the regulatory bases for aid intended for the financing of industrial research or experimental development projects carried out by small and medium-sized companies, in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and approving the first call relating to projects carried out by technology-based companies and startups (DOE no. 116, of 19 June); according to the wording granted to it by Decree 9/2024 of January 30, which partially modifies Decree 57/2023, of May 24, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid intended for the financing of industrial research or experimental development projects carried out by small and medium-sized companies, in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and approves the first call related to projects carried out by technology-based companies and startups (DOE no. 25, of February 5), which has partially modified it. Room. Amount of aid. 1. The amount of the subsidy will be calculated by applying to the eligible investment of the project the percentage of aid intensity that corresponds, according to the category of the company, the degree of technological maturity of the proposal and the commitment of the beneficiary company to disseminate the results. 2. The maximum eligible investment for the projects will be €250,000 (VAT excluded), the aid intensity percentages are as indicated below: Industrial Research Projects: small business 70%, medium 60%. Experimental Development Projects: small company 45%, medium 35%. When the results of the project are widely disseminated through conferences, publications, open access databases or free or open source computer programs, the aid intensities will be as indicated in the following table: Industrial Research Projects: small business 80%, medium 75%. Experimental Development Projects: small company 60%, medium 50%. Fifth. Financing. 1. The credit provided for in the call for this Modality II of aid amounts to one million five hundred thousand euros (€1,500,000). 2. The call is multi-year in nature and is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit to finance the obligations derived from it, during the years 2026 and 2028. This aid will be attributed to the budget application 13006.331B.77000, Funds code FD211A1101 and expenditure project code 20230003 "Projects of R&D&I carried out by technology-based companies EBT and STARUP", with the following breakdown by annuity: Budget application: 13006.331B.77000 2026 annuity: €1,050,000.00 2028 annuity: €450,000.00 4. The financing of the aid regulated in the call will be carried out under the Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of Extremadura corresponding to the programming period (2021-2027), within Political Objective 1 “A more competitive and intelligent Europe, promoting a smart innovative economic transformation and regional ICT competitiveness”, Investment Priority: P1A Digital and Intelligent Transition and Specific Objective 1.1 “The development and improvement of research and innovation capabilities and the assimilation of advanced technologies”. The co-financing percentage of FEDER funds is 85%. 5. The amount of €1,500,000.00 approved in the call for this Modalities II may be increased by up to 20 p.
