SUBSIDIES FOR THE REDUCTION AND SAVINGS OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION THROUGH THE PRODUCTION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY

Official description of the call

FIRST. Purpose To regulate access to the subsidies that the Algemesí City Council will grant for the granting of subsidies for the reduction and saving of electricity consumption through the production of renewable energy with solar energy use systems for self-consumption in the municipal residential sector within the Climate and Sustainable Energy Action Plan of the Algemesí City Council. The scope of the actions to be subsidized includes all buildings for dominant use, residential, single-family homes and collective housing that are E The municipal area of Algemesí, regardless of its location on urban or rural land. Actions in buildings located on rural land will be subsidized as long as their destination is compatible with the provisions of the PGOU. SECOND. Beneficiaries of the subsidy The following may be beneficiaries of the subsidies: • The natural or legal persons who own the property. • Communities of building owners. • Charitable, religious or non-profit associations. The beneficiaries and, in any case, those who own the building, must be aware of all their financial obligations, tax or not, with the City Council and reliably prove their status. THIRD. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of the subsidy are available on the Algemesí City Council website. (www.algemesi.net) FOURTH. Amount In this 2025/2026 call, the available credit allocated to the subsidy, subject to regulation in these bases, is: • Year 2025: 12,500 euros • Year 2026: 2,500 euros The beneficiaries of the aid will receive the economic amount per Kwh of electrical energy reduction agreed upon by the municipal Government Board. The amount of this aid will be established between the following limits: INTER-ANNUAL ELECTRICAL ENERGY REDUCTION FROM UP TO AID 250 KWH 650 KWH €300 651 KWH 1300 KWH €400 1301 KWH - €500 In the case of the 6-month modality, the amount of this aid will be established between the following limits: REDUCTION OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY FOR 6 MONTHS FROM UNTIL HELP 125 KWH 325 KWH €300 326 KWH 650 KWH €400 651 KWH - €500 The total subsidy to be received for each action will be a maximum of 500 euros, limited to the total justified in the billing provided from the point of consumption, per applicant or in the case of communities of owners that the building is Subject to the horizontal property regime, the final cost will be the one that should have been passed on to each owner, calculating using the distribution coefficients of the collective self-consumption installation. FIFTH. Selection criteria The subsidies will be granted through a direct concession regime, since the subsidies regulated by these bases have a unique nature by virtue of the provisions of articles 22.2.c and 28, sections 2 and 3, of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (LGB), for reasons of public, social, economic or humanitarian interest. The Local Government Board is responsible for managing the subsidies, authorizing and ordering payment, and justifying the expense. The allocation of resources will be made based on the requests submitted. If, taking into account these and the available resource, it is possible to assign the maximum amount set in base 4, it will be assigned in this way. Otherwise, the allocation may be made by a percentage lower than the maximum. In the event that there is not enough budget in the first call, the applicants who are excluded for this reason and meet the bases, may be included as beneficiaries in the next call that, if applicable, is agreed to be approved. SIXTH. Deadline for submitting applications Once the extract of the call has been published in the BOP, the call will be fully effective and the deadline established for the submission of applications by interested parties may begin, in the terms established in article 23 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Its presentation may be made through the Electronic Office or in the City Hall Entry Registry, and unconditional acceptance of the bases of the call and the conditions, requirements and obligations they contain will be presumed.
