1.- Object.- The purpose of this Call is to grant financial aid in the form of a non-refundable subsidy to support the carrying out of works and installations to adapt homes to people over 70 years of age or with reduced mobility or sensory disabilities located in the municipality of Bilbao, for the improvement of accessibility and non-discrimination conditions, for the removal of architectural barriers and for their adaptation to the specific needs of people with sensory disabilities. 2.- Beneficiaries. Natural persons who own a home in which a person over 70 years of age resides (who are 70 years of age at the time of submitting the application) or a person who has a recognized and valid degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%, which includes a positive degree of reduced mobility or where the disability is sensory, may be eligible for the aid regulated in these Bases; In the event that the disability is visual, it will have to be equal to or greater than 65%. Residents who are over 70 years of age or those who can prove the aforementioned degree of disability may also be eligible for aid, as long as they have a valid legal title to reside in the home. Actions in which the invoices or, in the case of partial payments, the final settlements are dated prior to January 1, 2025, will not be eligible for this aid. The deadline to submit applications begins on February 20, 2026 and will remain open as long as the budget allocation is not exhausted until November 13, 2026. 8.1.- Documentation to be attached.- As stated in art. 8.3 of the Program's Regulatory Bases, together with the “application and responsible declaration” form duly completed and signed by the applicant or by the person who holds his legal representation or assumes his guardianship, the following must be provided: • The applicants will provide a photocopy of the DNI of both one of the owners and the resident person who meets the age or disability requirements, if they are different. o In the case of representatives, they will also provide their ID and title of representation or guardianship. o In the case of foreigners, they will provide:  A valid long-term residence permit.  For community foreigners, certificate of registration in the Central Registry of Foreigners stating their foreigner identity number (NIE).
