Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias. First. Beneficiary entities Local municipal, supra-municipal entities and groups of local entities of Galicia may be beneficiary entities, in accordance with the powers that correspond to them in matters of waste management, that meet the requirements established for each of the eligible lines indicated in this order. Taking the above into account, local entities may submit subsidy applications either individually or in groups with other local entities that meet these same requirements. In the case of applications submitted by groups of local entities, the provisions of article 8.3 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies will apply, in particular, the identification of the execution commitments assumed by each member of the group, the amount of subsidy that would be applied to each of them who will also have the status of beneficiary entity, as well as in relation to the necessary appointment of the local entity that will act as representative of the group to fulfill the obligations that, as a beneficiary entity, correspond to the group. The grouped town councils will, in any case, have the status of beneficiary entity, so, in order to grant the requested subsidy, all of them must comply with the requirements, conditions, obligations and commitments established in this order. A local entity cannot attend the call simultaneously for the same action individually and through the supramunicipal entity or group of which it is a member. If this is the case, the application that, in accordance with the submission date, is later in time will not be admitted, unless the previous one is previously withdrawn. In order to be a beneficiary entity of this aid, local entities must have submitted the accounts referred to in article 208 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the consolidated text of the Law regulating local treasuries, for the corresponding budget year, to the Accounts Council of Galicia. Those in which any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, as well as in article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, may not have the status of beneficiary entities. Second. Purpose This order aims to regulate the granting, on a competitive basis, of aid to local entities and groups of local entities in Galicia for the financing of actions aimed at increasing eco-efficiency in the management of waste under municipal jurisdiction. Specifically, projects are included aimed at expanding the degree of territorial implementation and the quality of the separate collection of the biowaste fraction; projects that encourage the separate collection of textile waste; projects aimed at improving the network of clean points in Galicia; and digitalization projects that allow the establishment of differentiated waste rates. At the same time, its advance call for spending for the year 2026 is made public (procedure code MT975X). Third. Regulatory bases and call Order of January 15, 2026 establishing the regulatory bases for the granting of aid to local entities in Galicia for the financing of actions aimed at increasing eco-efficiency in the management of municipal waste, co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Galicia Feder 2021-2027 Program, with a co-financing rate of 60% of the eligible expenditure for the year 2026 (procedure code MT975X). Room. Credit and amount. The aid called under this order will be financed from budget application 06.03.541D.760.1 (project code 2026 00010) corresponding to the general budgets of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for the year 2026, from the Fund E program.
